Vez'nan can be defeated with just 5 towers: 3 Mages and 2 Big Berthas, and fully-upgraded meteors. And you keep plenty of money for the post-victory party :D

@cinit i think the problem with the speed button is that 1 unit could be enough to destroy your entire defense and you need to be ready to manage towers and abilities on the fly. Besides, do you really think you could target an ice wolf effectively with a fire rain if it were going at 2x speed?

I almost cried when I made the ultimate fighting force 2 full power musketeers 1 normal power 3 barbarian mead halls 3 arcane wizards and 2 big berthas/500 mm. it was like a quadruple rainbow

you should get stuff for completing achievements. Also I think it's a very nice twist to normal tower defence games, and I especially like all the things that don't have to do with the game objective: killing sheep and goats, catching fish, freeing sasquatch etc.

The wolf-type enemies are noted to be able to dodge melee attacks, which I would like to point out is not true. They are able to dodge arrows. Maybe artillery too, I don't use much artillery to know that. I haven't observed them to be particularly good at dodging swords.
Arrows are not melee attacks. Melee is close-range weaponry.

If there is a 2nd one i think there should be a game mode where you are the enemy and the cpu is the defender. i like the idea of being on the other point of view + if u think this would be a nice little addition to an already great game.

I <3 this game. HINT 2 free the saquach you need 2 use the fire spell on the level with the frozen shut cave. then its free he will help u if u buy him but i cant remember how much he cost.
