I keep seeing this problem with various tower defence games nowadays..
You can only get so far before it becomes painfully obvious the further levels are too dependent on upgrades to even win let alone get through without a scratch.
I for one LIKE the TD games where you can throw away strategy and spam powerful towers, because when they try to add strategy they end up with this over-complicated "Go back and grind, beat ONE stage, then go back and grind more" system..

I really want to play this game through, but nothing I do will allow it to save my progress. I turned off all ad blockers, set three different browsers to accept ALL cookies, and it still doesn't work. I finish the first board and go to the menu and immediately all I have are three New Game slots.

Love the comments when upgrading towers. My favourite has to be when adding/upgrading the missiles, the guy goes "Yippee ki-yay, motherf****" :D

This game is epic. my only complaint is there isnt enough level. The premium content isnt pushed on you and you dont feel like your missing out wich is a rare and great thing. I loved this game so much much i even jumped through kong's free kred thing hoops to get the premium content, and after one car insurance application i saw it was all worth it just to see my reinforcments dressed up as scorpion and sub-zero. Bonus props for all the evil dead refrences.

This is the kind of tower defense game that programmers need to follow. Instead of spamming a horde of tank towers, splash damage and slow-speed artillery around the battle field, you have limited spots for towers. What's more, each tower has to be carefully placed for maximum effect. Five out of Five. Ironhide, you really nailed this one.

i hate this game on armor games it is the best game i mean come on it get so boring there are so many of these games it getting old i want to play something different. what makes this so special from the million other tower defence games

OK, can someone explain the 'No upgrades beyond this level' restriction. I'm trying to do the iron on level 2 (farmlands), but can't get the discount on mage towers. I only have the nine stars from level one and two. Thanks.

Kongregate I thank you so much for giving broke bastards like me a chance at premium content, by doing offers that actually work, if i could rate over 5 i would just for irongames and kongregate working together to make this game so much greater!!!!!! KUDOS!!!!

Levels are too long and if you mess up you don't even get a single star.
It would be way better if the levels were about half as long and there was a way to earn stars even if you die, similar to in other games where you can level up even if you aren't really winning.
As it is, I don't want to spend 15 minutes playing a level to see if a certain defense works and then get nothing, so I'm going to play games other than this one.
