@alternative That's not my problem really. It's that it ends up feeling more like a lack of level design and balance that ends up marring an otherwise really good game.
To sit there and watch two leveld up towers pound on a single enemy and not be able to take it down.....on EASY, is just.... a bit nuts. I don't think it's a thing about the game being challneging, it just feels....unbalanced instead of challenging.
Ironhide needs to take some time doing some balancing passes and do an update.

@vicious I have to admit, it is actually pretty annoying once you reach the harder levels, but that's what your brain is for, eh? Think of it. :)

I really liked this game at the start, and really wanted to like it more but it just ends up feeling really futile and annoying. The towers seem to do little to no damage except against enemies that have low health and defense.
I hit the stormcloud temple level and just stopped there. it just felt pointless and annoying. I watched an archey and magic tower hammer at "normal" enemy with a sliver of health and not kill him before he could injure me.
I may give it a shot later, but like I said, just ended up feeling really futile with how even leveled up towers seem to do next to no damage.

I would put a story at the beggining like say in the forest chapter ,"Kingdom Rush and the Gobley Green Goblins" something like that anyways.... O.o

Blah. I can't get the game to work.
I hit new game, the sides close as if it'd open up to the game, but it just goes to the screen with the new games in it again. I tried updating pluggins, deleting others, etc. But nothing works. Bleh.

Not sure if this has been discussed but I'd like to see an endless mode and at the beginning of the level have enough gold to fully upgrade at least 5 posts and then see how long you last.

Tip: The rocket riders use their boost as soon as they're hit by ANYTHING. So place sharpshooters near spawn points to set them off or reinforcements with spears.

There should be more abilities, like heal or temporary armor/damage increase, although you would have to choose two, because all would be way too good.

Tip:when you upgrade your soldiers they instantly respawn and regen to full hp instantly so that way you don't wait for them to come out and get caught easily.

Why is this so highly rated? Its just one of 10000000 tower defense clones on Kong, and there is very little different. Gemcraft is much better and has a much different flavor than the typical 'archer tower, fast firing rate, low damage. Heavy tower, slow firing rate, high damamge. Sniper tower, long range high damage low low fire rate. Splash tower, slow tower etc.
