Bug with Gunmen... Do they have like a cool down time or a rest time? i have over 50 gunmen on lvl 30 but they dont fire till im like dead.. after im dead they kill everything, nothing even comes close to the base.
Is the gunmen supposed to work this way? some sort of cooldown?

Adapted from others: "upgrade" means max, buy walls as needed; buy in this order: 1 gunman, shotgun (will use for tankers at endgame), quake machine, 1 repairman, misslaunch then upgrade missles, lzr tower, upgrade rate of fire on misslaunch & lzr, sell quake, 2nd lzr, upgrade RoF, upgrade dmg on lzrs, 44 gunman, sell misslaunch, 3rd lzr & upgrade it, 2 gunman every lvl from hereon, space lzr, upgrade ammo then reload then radius (fire 1 per tank, 2 per mech), rest of $ on repairmen, REPOST THIS WHEN IT WORKS!

Still quite buggy with "invincible" bad guys. They don't die, not matter what you do. and its little things like Jeeps or a rifle man

What's this??? On the evening of day 39. my 70 gunman stopped firing, so enemy infantry overran my base... Vasted time and effort because of such a bug... For this 5/5 -> 1/5

this is really what keoni said.. to win sparta on normal without clicking once (after you start) build two quake boxes and max both of them, so the spartans are constantly being knocked down. then build as many gunmen as you want. btw I love the game, 5/5

So... lets say you've figured out how to get past early game. Perhaps you got a flamer joe, or a missile turret with your gun. How do you make this game easy mode? Simple. Assuming you bought some gunmen and enough engineers (maybe 10 for early levels, 20 for mid, 30 around level 40), sell all your towers and buy 3 shield generators. You now have 93.6% damage reduction, which increases the effectiveness of all your repairmen. It's equivalent to having 469 repairmen. And 9375 health. Have a decent number of gunmen (levelx2 is fine), sit back and watch.

honestly, i like storm the house two much better. you can actually enjoy sth2 (blowing stuff up was fun =3), but in sth 3... Campaign mode is bloody long to finish.. and not many people have the time. plus, the game chokes you with the amount of enemys on the screen

Strange, at day 41 of the campaign my gunmen just stopped firing. And since my whole defense was based around them it quickly lost me the game. If it had happened at 39 and lost me the badge I'd be pretty mad.

If anyone is still having trouble with the spartan badge, max the laser's ammo and reload.
It kills the Spartans in one hit and has a large blast radius.
Alternatively you can use the quake (either by tower or Quaker gun) and loads of gun men.
One final method (my favorite) is to use 3 rocket towers (rockets maxed) and a fully upgraded grenade launcher. The rockets are fun and keep the Spartans on their backs while you blow up hordes of them with the grenade launcher (hehe).

Remember the Alamo tips:
1) 2nd gun should be the SCAR, buy a few gunmen and maybe a couple upgrades for the pistol along the way, but get the SCAR as soon as possible.
2) Use the SCAR primarily, using your money to get 3 rocket towers (and upgrade them) and more gunmen, shouldn't need any repairmen or wall upgrades yet
3) Once rocket towers are mostly upgraded and a good number of gunmen are hired, you can save up to buy the "Big Old Gun" or whatever it's called. Use money to upgrade reload time and clip size (accuracy is somewhat irrelevant since you'll be using it mostly for the big guys)
4) Keep buying gunmen, upgrade the wall and get some repairmen. Through level 40 you'll have your wall at 400 or 500, ~150 gunmen and 20-25 repairmen.

Did they changed something? We weeks ag i couldn't bet lvl 38 and now with old glory (not fully upgraded), uzi (full upgrade), 120 rifleman and 36 repairmen i get hard badge.
