"Sir, why don't we just kill that guy shooting us from that hill?"
"Well that's how it works if you don't like it, THEN JUST GO DRIVE THOSE FUEL TRUCKS"

There seems to be a bug where in Zombocalypse you're not always allowed to switch to the shotgun. Pretty hard without it.

Campaign Walkthrough: Order of things to buy
Shotgun, Telsa tower, Grenade launcher, lazer tower.
At this point it gets really easy.
Upgrade your grenade launcher a bit.
Sell your tesla and buy a missile tower and a laser tower.
Just keep upgrading. At this point, you don't even need to shoot your gun for the most part.

for hard: 1 shooter, 1 ammo on pistol. Shotgun/1 fixer. Earthquake. Tesla. 20 shooters/Missile. Wall. Upgrade reload on missile/shotgun. Upgrade missile count. Sell earthquake, get laser cannon. Upgrade laser cannon. Sell tesla, get more missiles (or perhaps another laser cannon, or perhaps a shield generator). Upgrade all turrets. Get shooters throughout when nothing better to do (I finished with 86). Get max walls and 30ish fixers (I finished with 40); even if you miss the big tankers, the fixers will fix you right up. Get largest gun only when turrets fully upgraded. Max its reload and ammo count. It's only better than combat shotgun for dealing with giant walkers in the last few levels (with maxed ammo and reload, which is too much money unless you have nothing better to buy). I find the first 10ish levels by far the hardest. Once the earthquake and tesla are up it is a breeze.

I feel weird saying this, but the crosshair isn't distinct enough. In the later laters, with floods of guys, I can't even tell where my aim is a lot of the time.

Anyone else spend a ridiculous amount of time trying to black out the letters of PAUSE once you realized that you can shoot with the game paused?

Simple earthlings - to complete this game you require 7 items. A duck, 1 shield generator, one rocket launcher tower, one laser tower, one giant machine gun, a 1 british pound box of exterior galvanized box nails, and a duck. start the game, don't upgrade the pistol. use the spacebar to reload, shoot people until you have the scar rifle. Don't upgrade it. Keep playing till you have the 3 towers. Start upgrading towers. when you have 30k lying about at round 24, buy the megamachine gun. Place the box of nails on your mouse button. Aim at the 2nd tower level on the left side of the screen. Let the game go. Upgrade, repeat. Once towers are upgraded fully, start increasing the number of shooters and repair. Make sure your wall is good. The most important part is the 2nd duck. The first duck is obvious. Communication end.

Hard Badge (how I got it): -Early Game- Upgrade pistol to 8 ammo, buy one shooter right away. Get Combat Shotgun (not auto), then the 2nd tower (knock-down generator). Shotgun/shooter/knockdown will help you level easy + 1 fixer. Rush towers to deal with zerg rush tactic. -Mid game- Got tesla tower next, and then rocket tower. Upgrade shotgun reload and rocket tower reload as much as possible, while slowly getting to 20 shooters. Use shotgun only to deal with vehicles, and towers/snipers should deal with the rest. Save money for $30k Machine gun. -End Game- Ended with: ~50 healers, 48 shooters, the laser cannon tower, two rocket towers (sold generator), and the big machine gun. Kept Shotgun as backup for tanker trucks all the way through. Don't spend any money on guns other than Combat shotgun and machine gun (machine gun after fully upgraded turrets).

Play lvl99 with 100 gunmen and repairmen with fully upgraded gattling gun and unlimited money and fully upgraded towers to test your computer. Nearly all of them freee but mine didn't lol

Needs pause and return to menu options. Adding shooters doesn't seem to make them shoot any faster. Other shooters can kill with one shot. Player needs at least 2 or 3, and gets worse even after buying upgrades.

I enjoy this type of game usually, but the lack of a save feature in the campaign, even once every 5-10 levels was rather... annoying... completed a few modes anyways.

"Sir they are slaughtering the swardsmen."
"Send in the gunmen"
"They slaughter them too"
"Then send in the worthogs"
"They destroyed those too"
"Ok then how about those jetpack dudes?"

"robo men?"
"dead"
"tanks?"

hint for people trying to get the badge of the day on Zombocalypse mode.... use the shotgun and just click away while targeting and don't worry about letting it reload to full... you can shoot it as soon as it reloads one shot

Game starts lagging when lots of zombies enter screen and I switch to shotgun...then I die. Disabling "special effects" had no impact.

I guess the enemy commander has way too many soldiers to spare, when he can send swordsmen against fully upgraded laser and rocket turrets + 70 soldiers shooting from window and a quaker.

Zombocalyptic extravaganza badge: use the pistol until there is a big group at your front door then blast them then immediately switch back to pistol. repeat. if you do this, you wont have to use the shotgun more then ten time, so you will not have to reload it

Following RangyRV's guide for the Hard Badge, a bit more thorough: Day 1: Make sure you get 800 dollar, else start over. Buy the Uzi. Following days, in this order: Buy 3 gunmen. Buy the S.C.A.R. Buy a repairman. Buy a Quake Box. Buy 2 Missle Turrets. Make sure you have upgraded your wall before day 17 (fuel truck does 100 damage). Buy Gunmen, repairmen and upgrades for your buildings. At Day 30 I had 40 gunmen, 10 repairmen, 400 HP, fully upgraded the Towers and some upgrades in the Old Glory. At Day 35, I doubled my troops, because I was scared of the Robots. At this point, a flock of tanks kills you faster then a big robot. I let one through and I lost 50 HP before it was killed by the gunmen and rockets. So focus primairy on the tanks. From here it is easy as long as you keep holding your mousebutton for the Old Glory. I started day 40 with fully upgraded: Old Glory, 2 Missle Turrets, 1 Quake Box. 600 HP, 100 Gunmen and 28 repairmen. From day 10 it was never a challenge.

Hmm, no way to get back to menu.
with 15 repairmen I regenerate all damage except on day 40 where I had to actually DO something. Shotgun seems better than the space laser or really big gun. grenade launcher is probably its upgrade.
