Stupid glitch: at day 14, a SWAT guy showed up, looked the same as the usual SWAT guys, but wouldn't die after 10+ min of shotgunning.

Got the Hell Dining badge. All I did was fully upgrade a 'Quake Tower then get a grenade launcher with max damage and ammo.

Flippin POS game. Day 37. Going nicely until lag is so horrible it takes a good 3 seconds for the gun to actually fire. Yes - it was fully loaded. 40 repairmen couldn't keep up as I got hammered by flying dudes. 3 hours wasted because of a glaring flaw in the game.
Yes, I probably will try again. Get more repairmen I wasted getting a quakegun for a level. Almost died because of it. should have stuck with shotgun I guess.

Old glory might look cool but the lag is so horrible you have to be lucky to hit the suicide trucks.

So a bug has twice prevented me from killing 300 spartans...has anyone else encountered one or two invincible spartans? once they get to the wall i can't seem to kill them. it will only be one or two but if it happens early enough it is enough to kill you.

dang, boss walked in and i didn't get a chance to pause it, The below strat worked fine though through 42, and probably will work for a good 4-5 more levels. Good luck guys! i'm out of this page for a long while

(Post 1/3) Finally, after about 2 weeks of trying.... I went back and did a combination of these two strats posted by Calyad and modified by TBH_Productions.
just follow the steps, don't worry about the days.
step 1. buy 1 gunman
step 2. buy a combat shotgun (you will use this the rest of the game, for the tanker truck at the end)
step 3. buy a quake machine, put it in the top spot, don't upgrade you will be selling it.

(post 2/3) step 4. buy 1 repairman
step 5. buy a missile launcher and put it in the middle slot
step 6. upgrade number of missiles to max
step 7. buy a laser tower
step 8. upgrade rate of fire to max on laser tower and missile launcher
step 9. sell quake tower and buy laser tower
step 10. max out rate of fire on new laser tower
step 10. max out damage on laser towers, do not upgrade damage on missile launcher you will be selling it
step 11. start buying gunmen and repairmen, you will want a ratio of 2 gunmen per level (if you are level 25, you'll want 50 gunmen) Do this for the rest of the game, even beyond level 41.
step 12. when you have at least 45 gunmen, sell your missile tower and buy your last laser tower
step 13. upgrade all towers while throwing in engineers.

(Post 3/3) step 14. buy the orbital laser, upgrading #of shots first. (you will use the orbital laser for the huge guys and the tanks, 1 shot for a tank, 2 shots for a huge mech)
step 15. upgrade reload rate on laser, then range. All the while mixing in engineers as always.
step 16. buy engineers the rest of the way.
this worked for me past level 40, i'm still actually playing, but took a break to write this for the benefit of others who may be struggling like i did.

easy sparta on normal: build a quake box and full upgrade it, then buy a lot of Gunman (60-62). If you want make the first wall upgrade

Easy, straightforward, and fun. 4 Stars, less 1 because of the *Intense* difficulty for getting through the days. It's freakin' hard. (Without cheating. Ofc)

Tips:
buy this in this order
gunmen
repairmen
shotgun
quakegun
upgrade damage to max
total 5 repair and 1 wall upgrade
upgrade reload to max
lazer turret
lazer turret
shield turret
upgrade shield turret to max
upgrade 1 lazer turret
then the other one

Once this is finished you have to only buy gunmen repairmen and wall as you want but try to have max wall and 20 repairmen at least for lvl 35

The sparta one was easy... fully upped wall, fully upped earthquake gun/earthquake tower and two missile turrets fully upped, rest into gunmen

Figuring out winning strategies was fun. Levels 25-36 were boring. Levels 36-39 had incredible lag. I don't know what level 40 was like, my 100 gunmen stopped shooting.
Maybe some kind of quality control so the lag doesn't kill us?

For the this is sparta normal, if you find it hard, max wall and grenade launcher. get gunmens. spam ur grenades. reloads fast, igh damage, large aoe. best weapon of chioce

a few tips for the hard badge,don't waste money on big guns,i just used a shotgun fully upgraded,then on day 37 i got the laser gun to take care of the big robot things.build a quake box,then flamer joe,then a laser tower,and on day 25 you need 3 laser towers,be sure to have lots of gunmen before getting the other 2 laser towers,then keep buying more gunmen and a few repairmen near the end,dont fully upgrade the wall till you have 3 laser towers,then from level 25 it's easy! hope this helps :)

part3: day 26 fully upgraded chainsaw. day 28 fully upgraded wall n bought space laser gun w/ all $ spent on reload. day 30 get total 20 repairmen, upgraded dmg laser n reload. day 33 fully upgraded space laser n spent rest of $ on repairmen. my pc cant handle the lagg and i die around lvl 36-38. if this tactic works for you...bump it. *caos35 also has a good tactic...ive tested it and it has the potential to win.

part2: day 13 max out missle count on both tower n spend rest of $ on dmg. day14 buy 1 repairman n +1 upgradewall n spend rest of $ on upgrading fire rate for missle tower. day 15 spent all $ on fire rate upgrade for laser tower. day 17 max out fire rate on laser. day 18 spent all $ on middle missle tower. day19 spent $ on dmg for laser tower n spent left over $ on repairmen. day20 bought fully uggraded chainsaw for fun or go for old glory. at this point u should make minimum 30k+ per round. day22 upgraded +2 wall n max out laser dmg. day23 sold bottom missle tower n switch for laser tower, spent all $ on upgrading bottom laser. day 24 max out all towers, got total 10 repairmen, +ammo on chainsaw
