As an aside, the shield isn't very useful because while it reduces the damage you take, it also reduces the speed you repair at, so the net effect is minimal.

Tips for hard badge: Don't get any weapons except the pistol, shotgun, and chainsaw. Concentrate on building defences to take care of the infantry: a few gunmen to start with, then get a flamethrower when you can afford it. It will take care of the men and you can focus on the jeeps and hoverpacks with your shotgun and then later chainsaw. Don't hold down the chainsaw, just click briefly, otherwise you use too much ammo. Once you have the flamethrower, start getting more gunmen and then a laser. Don't upgrade the laser damage yet, only speed. Once you have enough gunmen to hold off all the infantry (maybe 40 or so) sell the flamethrower so by the end you can get three lasers. Don't upgrade the laser damage until you start getting tanks attack you; let the lasers take out the hovermen and use the chainsaw on the terminators on the ground. Eventually you should have three full upgraded lasers, 15-20 repairmen and 80-100 gunmen. :D

hey, ya'll go to capture the flag and get all 3 quakers, u make them all to max lvl then get around 40 gunners and you will last for 3 min and 44 sec, but they will say 224 seconds, Go and try out :) if im wrong ya can just go on press - on me :P but if im right plz do press + :DD also i can't wait for STH 4! GO STH!

After finishing 40 waves on campaign on Normal, I seriously just let myself die on day 41, wanting my badge and to leave.
So why didn't I get it... :/

The other gun should reload while using the other so that when you ran out of ammo the other gun is ready. + sign please.

when using space laser you can fire then pause the game the laser animation plays and no one moves then unpause and everyone under the laser will die (or get hurt)

Step 2: Buy the quaker (gun)
Step 3: Upgrade the quaker reload to 10
step 4: Buy a quake box (tower)
step 5: Upgrade the quake box firerate to 120
You're ready! Now just spam your quaker. Don't worry about reloading. You actually fire faster if you shoot after every autoreload. Just keep clicking and you should be fine. Hope this helps and + so this can help others too:)

@ishmari14 it does say that you have to do it on the "normal" difficulty... you were probably looking at the badges below the game. The badges on the side of the game tell you.

So, I did the Hard badge "remember the Alamo" and it took me 2 hours to beat, nowhere on that badge does it mention the difficulty it needs to be on, so I just assumed easy was okay.
It took me 2 hours to do that... It didn't say I needed to be on normal difficulty or anything. So my question is: Do I need to be on a certain difficulty to get the hard badge?
