Get the combat shotgun and the quake box in early game. Keep adding shooters and later add missile turret, shield and replace quake box with missile turret. Keep the shotgun and upgrade everything. The shotgun rules, you can fire while reloding which is very useful.

Sorry, but the first 5 levels of camapign mode are boring. When it gets interesting you get to test out some stuff and if you make the wrong decisions, you are dead and have to do all the boring stuff again.
Captured me for a while now, but after dying in level 12 I can't be bothered to play the first 10 again. So ->3/5. Nice game, but lacks save/continue or something alike.
Or at least let me sell the weapons I don't need anymore.

spartan, nice and simple:
flamethrower fully upgraded, wall to 400, get the most maintenence you can, then the most gunners you can
all you have to do is keep lighting them on fire as they come. let the gunners take out those you miss.

best way to kill 300 spartans is to first buy and fully upgrade the grenade launcher.... also buy a fan and a quake box and upgrade those

I found the easiest way to beat the spartans was a missle tower w/ max speed and a nicely upgraded grenade launcher :)

Old glory has a warm up timer you have to hold it down, oh and sometimes holding it down doesn't work, so release and try again.
As for the game, eh, I have no idea how to get to level 40 on normal, those walkers are no joke, and all I can think of is to try to turtle in enough with shields.

Post Tips: Achieve Zombie badge by clicking as fast as possible. Don't worry about accuracy, just click. Also, use secondary weapon (shotgun) for the larger groups.
