Disadvantages of Santa's Hat: If you're swimming and the exit is underwater, you're going to lose looots of time, if you're on a green block, and you need to go down, you will need to wait loooots of time, if you need to destroy ''rock-blocks'' by stomp it's gonna take u loooooots of time, if you need to destroy mines by stomp, it's gonna take u looooots of time... etc...

I don't know why people say the santa hat sucks for racing... in truth, while it CAN ruin a perfectly good level, having an extra second of slipperyness (As opposed to say, safety nets, mines, disappearing blocks) allows you to keep your footing very well. Being able to walk on safety nets is a huge plus, too, as is mines.
