Not a bad game, considering it's age... but still...
-no chance to re-run missions if you end up having 0 credits.
-no chance to ski upgrades and go for stronger ones.
-the prize for destroying police on lower levels doesn't compensate for the loss by bumps.
I don't know.

Wow some people are dumb.... The game does save, it is not old, the point is to smack into a lot of other cars... short game and 0 story, but fun for 2 hours - 4/5

Well, haven't tried this one yet, but right away I notice there seems to be no way to switch off the sound. That's a major flaw in any game.

To everyone: I don't think the losing of credits is from police hitting civilians. You notice that in level 4, the police start using guns? When they hit you, you lose some credits. Therefore the best way not to lose credits as fast is to jump.

The concept behind The Heist would seem to guarantee a fun gaming experience. Make your way with stolen goods along the highway, dodging the other drivers and crashing into police cars. Unfortunately, the game does suffer from several implementation issues. Time and again, you will find all 4 lanes in front of you blocked at the same time, making it impossible to avoid the other cars. Long sections of the road will feature only 1 or 2 police cars, then suddenly up to 6 will surround you. The car upgrades are a nice touch, but the specialists you need to hire to access later missions come with no background, while the story itself is missing, save for the short mission briefings.

i don't get it, i have the correct flash player and when i start playing i cant steer.. it keeps going all the way to the right or left and i have to countersteer to go straight. I got to finish the level but i never make more then 0 credits because i keep hitting civilians. Anybody know what the problem is?

Nice little thing, much fun
The rockets are superior to the mega mines and they could have a little more force.
The cars are indeed a bit too "light", they fly too easily

You do know this game was made over a year ago? The Heist 2 is already out and learns from all those tidbits in this game. The Heist is still a great game and runs pretty well on low-end machines regardless of what your comments are.
Play to the end, the experience gets stronger, you have to earn it.
As for the sticky key issue, if it's Internet Explorer and a ton of other games simply update your browser to something like Mozilla Firefox and a later flash player from Adobe. Not difficult and 100% free to do.

maybe less traffic and less money to pay for wrecking cars why? i am a bad guy. i could see if i had to repair the van out of my own pocket but but everyone else car . not very good 1/5

this game sucks so badly! the police makes more rampage than i do ?! i i loss the money ? and if you try to crash a cop car it eksplode and take 30 other cars with you... wtf?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is stupid. When do cop cars purposely crash into civilians just to get to the suspect. Also, cars don't bounce around like pinball.

This game had so much potential, but seemed to drop the ball. Repetitive, wonky physics, and while the potential is awesome, the "specialists" are relegated to faces on a board. In addition, the level descriptions don't match up with the supposedly needed "specialists" at all.
