Is it unreal for a melee fighter to be able to atack someone to the left or right of them?Seriusly this really needs to be changed

I think I can understand the idea that ceasers spells cant hurt the fortress, its that the gaul spells wouldnt affect the fortress because they all suck.

Beat both the roman and gaul campaings then went to max games to try the boaretheus campain. *possible spoiler* its is awesome! on the last battle (not the bonus one) I thought for sure i was dead but then the creaters game to the rescue and killed everyone=D

I was in the gaul campain and what i noticed is that their spells suck, the smoke bomb skill can backfire and protect the romans, the ice slide just moves them closer, and the neutral zone spell only protects aginst fire.

Soldier1:"Sire, their just miners who uselessly swing their picks at the dirt..."

Ceasar:"Good, attack those dirt diggers!"
Soldier2:"What the HELL, their just archers who dipped their arrows in oil then lit them on fire."
Ceasar:"Shut up soldier, their coming to save us, show them some respect!"

I cant complete stage 5 of Vercing, its impossible destroy the Caesar fortress before Caesar backup arrive. Please put a little guide with what i need to do to complete it.
Oh, the stage 4 just can be completed with archers spam ^^

VERCING: YOU have to Caesar...You are born to die by your SENATE......my 7 archers thrashed VERCING off and i won in 4 th game..... how in hell did he return to fight me again......that's DEJA VU

With a game like this where one of the main strategies is 'Counter Unit X with Unit Y,' it's a bad idea to make the enemy units obscured by their base when I am directly attacking it. How am I supposed to know what units to create if I don't know what I'm fighting against?
