My mercenary kicks ass with incendiary extended mag Thumper with acid bullets. This + "heal for damage" killstreak = unkillable. So your argument is invalid.
My sniper uses a shock rod... the sniper rifle is only a backup weapon. With Overkill you rape everyone. Add Extreme Stealth to the mix...
My Juggernaut(naught?) - Nitrogen Thumper with Nitrogen Rounds. 30% to reduce target's fire rate AND damage.

Sniper - Sniper rifle
Juggernaut - KSG
Mercenary - Minigun
