i dont want to reset upgrades every time i complete rift...they cost hell alot...this is just so boring..i wish i could rate it higher cuz it has many new features but it also has many ridiculous ones...3/5

painful grindfest. don't think i care about badges on this one. they make money on ads, i'll play while its fun. I won't play and watch ads at all if its not fun.

was going good till i accidentally hit the back button in a click jerk. came back and found my like 20 minutes progress gone.and it gave me a kongergate unity flash player error after i crashed when i restarted it. So i closed firefox and went to crome same error there. I will try this game another day when maybe something gets fixed.

Money grab game. Progress lost. Upgrades scale EXPONENTIALLY with earnings, leveraging the use of real money for tangible progress. Expect 3hrs for the medium badge w/o spending, that's how long it took me. Well made game and enjoyable for a time, but ultimately a money grab for the Devs. 2/5*

Too grindy, like others are saying. It seems clear that the devs have adjusted the earnings to push you toward paying for credits.

I loved the last two games but this one... simply terrible. The doors... you have to break through TWO doors buffered by a ridiculous amount of cake, making it take multiple attempts to break through each level because the doors aren't the problem, you have to clear out all the cake. it's way too much of a grindfest, the upgrades are nearly useless and way too expensive. You make almost no money each run and all the damn ads for basic, useless bonuses. A great series ruined.

I would have appreciated in the settings to manage the quality of the game. Unfortunately not everyone has a powerful device!

Dear developers, thak you very much for your "Reset all buffed out upgrades after rift without refund" and especially for message "Try out diffrent builds" with it. This thing finally allowed me to stop wasting time on your game and efficiently prevented me from giving you any money, though I was thinking about it.

I played this game for a while and enjoyed it. But I quit when I realized the cake walls turn it into a time-wasting grindfest. It doesn't matter how fast you are going, the cake walls will stop you dead in your tracks and force you to repeat the level over and over. Their only purpose is to slow down the progression and give you incentive to watch ads in the hopes of getting Chili Bombs. It's very exploitative and the game is not worth it.

A hint to those approaching the recipes part of the game - the "slightly sweet salsa," "rustic guacamole," and other recipes are actual recipes, not powerups. If you want to spend your recipe pages on powerups, don't blow them on the recipes.
Learned this the hard way and wasted pages on an actual recipe for mediocre salsa.

I wanted so hard to like this game. But after spending a solid 4 hours just to get the medium badge and upgrade levels 3/8 I couldn't do it anymore. Any flash game that has a 3hr reward system (the pinatas you have to watch ads to utilize) isn't for me, save that crap for terrible phone games your grandparents play.

You'll get a better reward by NOT wasting your time trying to get the medium badge for this game. Not enjoyable in the least.

after being forced to watch that spellstone add for the 100th time I decided to go visit it and change my rating for that game to 1 star. somehow I dont think adds that you have to watch this often will have a positive effect

I love games like this and I entirely understand the developers needing to make some money, but the pinata video mechanic is frustrating. Not so much because the videos themselves, but rather because watching videos on Kongregate is often bugged with videos that are no longer available, don't play to completion, or don't register as completed once finished. This puts your game at the mercy of Kongregate's bugs, which is a major problem.

Painful grind. Painful medium badge. And if you hit a pinata, the dev will REWARD you with PERMISSION to watch a painful and long advertisement. Geee, thanks. If I accidentally hit a pinata I have to choose between wasting my time cancelling that reward, or I have to go AFK while the ad runs. With the computer on mute.

Seriously, there's nothing more tedious than having to watch videos every 2 minutes in order to gain some questionable bonuses. Oh wait, there is: watching the SAME video every 2 mins of a game that I know already.

Good for mobile gaming, cuz it can make you waste your time at work or somewhere else, but for me, sitting in front of computer, slowly progressing is just way too boring
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Worst game in the series imo. Cost of upgrades are out of whack in comparison to your earnings, making this game a massive grindfest and caused me to give up before getting to the medium badge. Burrito Bison used to be fun but now it's a chore to play
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
As other people have mentioned this is just WAY too much grind relative to progress. Also, totally fair for the devs to want to make extra money with the game, but the pinatas are cringy even if they aren't glitching. "I'll let you punch me with your big muscles"... Other two were good but this one is just a step backwards.

Gets a rating of 1 for asking me to share the game after getting my 12th piece of recipe then not letting me load the game back and occupying my browser. Had to reload to get back to the game and didn't get credit for the run prior to the share message.
