I think summoned skeletons should either despawn on pitfall or travel with you, encountering crash when returning to previous level from pitfall trap that I think has to do with skeleton allies

flip a desk. Holy fudge this is a fudging stupid game. Get stuck in a room with 6 guys all have 30+ health and have longer range than me, and I can't even get close enough to hit one, then I die.. Been playing this game for hours and im flipping done. FIX THIS RANDOM SHITE.

Could have been a 5 star brilliant game, sadly can only give 3 stars at best.
Far Far too difficult to begin with. played about 100 times and never got beyond lvl 6. drops need to be more relevant to class or at least something more useful in first couple of rounds. Why cant i save ans load games when I want too. i get to lvl 6, find myself immediately mobbed and die, and you guessed it have to start from scratch
Am I ever going to waste any more time playing this game. i doubt it. Shame really because its usually the sort of game i enjoy

easterwave: cross class abilities and items give you choices: Do I put on that plate mail or do I want my spell power or stealth more than physical protection. also sometimes a mage wants to use a sword or axe on special occasions

both down stairs on level 9 freeze up for me when I try to go down. its in a game started before your last two updates , I dont know if that matters

seem to have encountered a pretty major issue right off the bat, game started loading got to 99 percent and then froze with a weird square taking up a quarter of the game screen

Kindly make the dungeon drop items that fit to the class I'm playing atm. Otherwise it is useless. Nice game with potential, but too much luck based.

WOW man, this version is awesome!!!
I loved the 2 but I love this one even more. Too bad that it does not load on Edge ...!

So far I had quite a few wishing wells while playing with Archer, but after selecting to obtain a weapon, I wasn't yet able to get a bow. I wonder if there's, like, a really low chance of this, or is it an intentional "drawback" of this particular class?

I love these games, but the utter lack of any sort of directed loot is really hurting them. Making it to the 15th floor and realizing that you simply can't win because you never managed to get a weapon other than a +1 version of your starting weapon, along with no other usable gear, is unbearably frustrating. It wouldn't be such an issue if it happened only occasionally, but 5 attempts with the ranger while only finding staves and polearms, then switching to a necro and immediately getting a longbow is a bit much :P

I love it. One thing though, the quick weapon slot allows a player to use a two handed weapon and a shield with minimal effort. Potentially an exploit.

greater staff of storms seems to be scaling with fire power instead of storm. my fire mage has a greater staff of both fire and storms and when it has fire equiped the storm staff shows 4[9] where as if the storm staff is equiped it shows 4[8]

Great game. It took me a few days to beat. It was really challenging but at the same time so much fun. I believe the Necromancer is a bit OP. Life tap (the skill that drains opponent HP) + Cannibalism (trade HP to MP) + Summon Skeleton (for distraction) is my skill rotation. I go way back, summon lots of skeleton then get back MP using cannibalize then life tap to get back HP then summon skeletons again. I think a cooldown (maybe 2-3 steps?) on cannibalize would equalize it. I never had to use Energy potion until last stage. I also would like to suggest 2 things for improvement? #1 Make a debuff icon below instead of a text. Other games does this like ragnarok. In heat of battle it's easy to miss If you have a debuff like infection (oops). And put a boss monster with at least 1-2 skill rotation. This is a really good game. 9/10. The music may also need improvement.

I have beaten it with Rogue - a couple of tips:
a) Whatever class your are playing confuse will help you a lot if you can get it
b) Don't try to clear everything - some places are just to dangerous for some classes
c) Rogue strategy sleep -> crit -> run works really well
d) Charge and Power strike are very useful for Rogue
e) Dungeon senses help a lot when you fall into next level
Good luck people!

Well, the game's certainly not too easy...
I made it once as an archer after a bunch of failed attempts, died dozens of times in other classes, partly bad luck/bad drops, mostly impatience.
I wonder if taking the side quests is even worth it, most of my deaths happened there. Maybe going straight down (or coming back right before the end) is a better strategy.

I think the sequence of levels should be less random and more balanced. If you end up in the Iron Fortress right after the Upper Levels, the flamethrower guys will fry you for sure. They're overpowered. The Crypt, on the other hand, is way too easy but appears usually in the middle or before the final levels. This is a little unbalanced in my opinion. The flamethrowers are Dark Temple or Yendor level actually.

Please remove the 10 round long confusion which is basically a death sentence, unless you plan to add some kind of tooltip for enemies/traps so it's actually avoidable, since I have no idea how I got confused.
Strike that, ADD TOOLTIPS! I have no idea what's happening half the time.

RNG is really bad sometimes, carefully planning just to descend to a new floor, immediatley surrounded there bu 6+ mobs of which one with yellow circle. insta death... Also not enough loot and if you find something it's for another class...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You need to remove all reflect bullshit, you build up good momentum until one ice dude with reflect kills you in one shot. Completely ruined the experience, man.

@dingding321 whats funny is that if you look in the local save files there is actually a record of previous characters, so implementing that might not be too bad.
If your refering to graveyard lists of characters then yeah its super easy to implement. When I was working on saving the scores I figured I'd better just future proof it and save everything so that when I get around to adding various different types of visible stats they can pull all your old games as well. I still need to add a bunch of more 'visible' tracked stats as well.

I love how you are so responsive to the players and in-the-moment as far as working on the game. That said, I'd like to have my weapons that can hit two tiles away to work diagonally. you can attack normally in that direction so why not for a weapon that has reach?
Thank you! Square distances has been in consideration for a long time and may become a thing in the future or at least we might try it for awhile to see how it feels.
Nothing at the moment, I've had various suggestions as to possible bonuses but I'm hoping to alleviate it somewhat just by adding a bunch of new talents to each class so its less likely to get complete double books. The loot generator already tries its hardest to give spawned books talents you don't have.
It increases your critical hit damage with all damage types including spells, unstable crits, random crits, sneak attack crits etc. Its also often nice to not have enemies attacking you the moment you step into LoS for some character builds.

ugh, this RNG can be brutal. On my current run I just got my 6th! shield. I'm playing an archer... (and still using the starter bow)

Nice game, but the screen size is quite big, I don't like to use fullscreen in order to see the whole game screen, so I applied a zoom of 90% to reduce its size.

got to floor 12, then had the entry for the next area behind a locked gate, so had to back track a few floors for a side dungeon to try to find a key, and died due lack of food from having to back track,
Any time you see stairs behind a locked gate, its guaranteed that there will be a switch somewhere on the level. I'm going to change the text on the doors in next update to notify you of this to help remove some of this confusion.

Game does not load on Microsoft Edge, but Fable II does. Guess it does not really matter if the rumor of Microsoft switching to the blink rendering engine is true. Hope its not true :(
I actually tried for like 6 hours straight one morning getting someone else to help me test since I can't run Edge on my computer and couldn't figure out the issue. Edge appears to have a ton of problems with lots of common web libraries since the error we were getting was popping up all over different developer discussions and no one seemed to know how to fix it other then just using a different library. Unfortunately the error for RFIII is the underlying game engine itself so unless I can find some more information regarding it, I'm afraid to say Edge is not supported right now.

An excellent game! 5/5 stars. I suppose I get unlucky sometimes with items, since it seems all items i get are not in the class of hero I'm using.

Conversely to what Edelpunk said, I just played 20 levels as a melee character and had multiple robes, hats, and magic rings while not finding a single melee weapon or armor

Another note - sleeping monsters seem identical to monsters who just can't see you. Meaning in RFII the first hit would usually awaken them, then the second hit would prompt them to attack, whereas you hit them now and they seem to bounce awake and fire an arrow (etc). The degree of difficulty is definitely cranked up with this game.

This is hands down the best dungeon crawler type game I have played. It is unique, but still has that dungeon feel we know and love. My hat goes off to the developers here! It's been a long time since I found a dungeon crawler that is unique, and no matter how many times you play it, it never gets old. Is there some way I can donate to the developer here? I didn't see any micro transactions available, but the people who made this game deserve to get a tip. One of you developers hit me back, let me know if there is a way I can donate to help support you. You guys did awesome work here! Thank you for giving me something fun to do when I am bored.
Glad your enjoying it :). No method for donation but the game will be continuing on in development on steam early access in a week or two if your interested. I'd say we're only at the 40% complete point right now so lots more to come there.

necromancer is the best character because he has infinity mana(cannibalise skill) and very powerful skeletons with agro. its better than any skills of elemental mages or ranger

with my frostmage fortitude skill allways says it will give 2HP but at high levels of fortitude(didn,t check until then) it gives 1 hp. if mages getting less health from it is intended then at least make the tooltip correct please

blumunk: once you meet trainers too much money would make the game too easy. Only buy those items from a merchant that you desperately need (or food if you tend to run low)

I do have the feeling that at the moment there are too many melee-related items to get. I often end up with dragon scale of some sort, plate armor and multiple two handed melee weapons when playing as a mage
