everything seems to have been shrunken down. the character menu, despite having all the same functions of the same menu in rf2 (and aside from 1 new equipment type nothing else) has a lot more empty space meaning what space is taken up is cluttered. the text is also notably smaller, most annoyingly when it comes to enemy health as it changes appearance as they move around the screen so 0s, 6s, 3s, and 8s can all look the same depending on where the enemy stand.

In map, when hovering : up stairs to the upper dungeons, but also down stairs to the *upper* dungeons. Copy paste error ? Or is it just its name ?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@erepaz For me, the level that had the stairs down to the sewers (level 9) had 2 sets of stairs, 1 to level 1 of the sewers and one to level 10. I think the sewers are a side quest. Quite the triple glyph doors/treasure trove at the bottom of the sewers :)

I remember playing Rogue Fable II on February 2018, and I got reallt close to the end, but died, so I stopped playing, without getting the hard badge, yesterday I chekced my mail, and found Rogue Fable III, deciding, should I try beating the second one? With common sense, I played Rogue Fable II, and got the hard badge with the fire mage, now im ready for the III, and right as I begin, I see better graphics, mostly the characters, some of them stayed the same, but all of the mages, got a big upgrade, I chose the fire mage, cause he was the best character (for me) on Rogue Fable II, next, the game got alot faster, it was annoying trying to speedrun while you move slowly, but now the game goes faster, and auto exploring and clicking on the map, makes it go even faster, which is aslo really good, the only thing I got dissapointed with, was the gameplay, the game has too many similarities to Rogue Fable II, but its a big improvement

Found a bug. When I try to descend to floor 4 on my Necromancer the screen goes black and stays like that. I restarted my browser a couple of times and same issue. The thing is, it works fine if I go back up a floor. But whenever I go down to 4th floor I am unable to continue. Just letting you know.

So I had 54 HP on my rogue with 18 stealth, about 15 evasion, 10 protection, two charges on my charm of healing (recovers full HP). I attack the golem while stealthed, dealing 37 dmg and leaving it with 20 hp. Every single time he hits me I lose over 30 HP, and my hits only deal 8 damage. It was a 1 on 1 fight, he was on a grass tile and I still lost. Why are crystal golems so strong?

Many things that I'm doing throughout the adventure gives some sort of odd Morse-Code looking prompt at the top of the screen.

I want an "undo last move" button. Yeah, I know that's not what rogue is about. But I hate when I get careless and miss something. Maybe put an option of "hardcore" and subtract that option.

This would probably be a more compelling experience overall with a persistent upgrades system, incentives to play more than one class, and unlockable stuff. I realize none of that is traditional for the roguelike genre, but this isn't 1980, and players do tend to like these kinds of things.

Damn crystal golem. I got to floor 55 and was surrounded by too many enemies so I used Scroll of Hellfire... but since there happened to be a crystal golem it reflected damage and killed me.

Also, is it just me or is it completely stupid to have your infectious disease capable of being passed to you? YOU created the damn thing, shouldn't you be able to easily dismiss it?

+3 Ring of Toxic: +3 Toxic Resistance *checks.* Yep, that's right. +7 Toxic Magic Power *checks.* 13 to 19..That's not right. Unless it's decimal numbers, which is possible but should be reflected. Also, the balancing still hasn't changed much. Melee classes are still complete garbage, with mage classes having been nerfed to level the playing field making them kind of useless too. What's the point of picking an element when you don't even get the basic elemental staff of it? And some things are just painfully over-priced. +3 Orb of Power, 264 gold. Who the hell even gets that much gold in a run by floor nine? The best I've ever had was 200 and that was with joining the Wealth religion.

Pro-tip: if you're running low on a wand you particularly like, keep at least 1 usage on it and don't spend it. Find an altar of enchantment or transference, put the wand in, and you'll get all your uses back.

great game, graphics are very nice, I haven't had time to experiment with many of the characters but as of right now enchanter, fire, and storm mage all seem very good, but again I haven't tried them all. The daily challenge is a cool idea, but maybe they could be smaller, but harder dungeons, and maybe have special requirements, like kill 50 enemies, or kill no enemies. Interesting goals like that would make it really fun.

Hmmm... is it still supposed to be the case that there's always a merchant on the fifth floor? The first time I made it down to the fifth floor, there was a merchant and almost no enemies (just a little swarm of ants). The second time, that floor again had very few enemies, but no merchant (and I explored the entire floor--it even said "exploration complete" when I clicked the E).

It feels a lot like dungeon crawl stone soup in a good way, it's definitely a cool simplified take on a classic dungeon diver.

I absolutely love the upgrade in graphics since the second game and I appreciate the new class as well. The new skills and talents make for some different gameplay and interesting situations. The lack of 'good' shrooms was at first a sad thing to see, but after noticing that I could rest to regain hit-points made up for that. Passive regeneration was a nice touch that the previous games were missing and something that, personally, I appreciate. Another thing is seeing that all of the 'wizard" classes all start with Magic Missile staffs instead of things such as a Staff of Poison, and that may not be horrible either. All in all this may not be exactly what I was imagining the third game would be, but I'm more than certain it'll live up to how wonderful its predecessors were. Great job Justin!

Charm of confusion is easily one of the best items in the game. Enchanted it a couple of times and it did most of the work for me.

2nd run, died on the very last floor with my rogue :(. My other runs don't even come close (dying on 5th floor). 5/5 game, will be playing this for a while.

Stuck at 99%. Pops a gray rectangle up over the lower right quarter of the screen after hitting 99% and does nothing else.
So if your using firefox, other users have reported they had to go to the fire fox menu, click content blocking and allow "Accept cookies and site data".

Really needs more "permanent" ranged weapons. Oh and a way to make the first 4 levels go faster, the game is a ton of fun once you get your classes unique abilities, but the first 10 min of every run is such a chore, especially since there are nothing to learn or practice... when i die, i don't quit the game out of the classic roguelike frustration :P, i quit because i just can't handle the boredom that is the first 10 mins of a run.
It works for me on firefox but another player has said that he set his cookies and site data to accept all and it started working with fire fox. To be more specific go to your menu in the top right corner of fire fox, go to content blocking and then I think its "Accept cookies and site data".

Having your level labeled on your character sheet, underneath where it says what god you pray to would be nice to have in order to be able to check to see if you meet the lvl requirements for an ability.

Instead of having to hit the arrow key each time to move. Being able to hold down the arrow key and the avatar just continues to move would be nice.
