I am stuck when I arrive in the game.
There is this golden icon of a mouse scrolling down...but nothing to do, whatever I try, I am stuck on a greyed out screen, I can see the game behind, but I cannot interact with anything

@PaulePaule - As far as I have understood we can´t blame the outage on Kong or Kano. Seems it was connected to the big AWS outage

@clueless, thank you very much. It worked =) @Kano, yes, this is a new issue. I thought it had to do with Kongregate's new UI due to the timing. I'm glad you saw my comment and hope you can fix it.

@xAllegrax . Just copy the link in pm and paste it on your synd board. Open from there and if then remove the link from the synd board (if it was sent as beeing for you only)

@chamrox. Yeah, I suspeced that it is Kong since the test account I made works just fine but when running inspect is shows something completely different when compared with my "infected" account which is full with Preview stuff (note that my master is in electrical engineering and not computer science so I might be laughable off here...). Anyway this is something tha KANO should (must) handle since it is infrastructure and critical for them operating on Kong and not send us users piecemeal to knock on Kong´s door. One outstanding question I have though is, as far as I know, also Armor account has been hit with this issue. What´s the connection there?

Thank you for letting us know of this issue with Kongregate's new UI. We are in process of reaching out to them to see if they can revert this for our games or fix it to allow scrolling.

According to Kano tech support, Kano can't fix the problem, it's Kongregate. Kongregate never responded to my support request about the garbage overlay. Kano doesn't have any method to export a player from Kongregate's servers and import them into one of their other platforms. So if you're on Kongregate, you're stuck here because they can't translate the authentication method or import into a new user.

what happened at Kongregate????
This new Kongregate overlay makes the game unplayable.
I can't scroll down the page now? can't see the social feed or anything below "game history". The raids are coming soon and I can't play!!

KONGREGATE updated the page, and now I can't play properly in KONGREGATE because the game page is partially covered by other windows. At the top of the screen, there's a "chat with other players on Discord" window, and at the bottom, there's a "kanoapps game description" window with players' "achievements and high scores." The system won't let me change the page settings. If I try to play in full screen, the windows are removed, but I can't see the bottom of the game page.

LoL you are just wasting stamina unless they are higher than you. Most lowbies only want to level during raids for that free 500 energy

Those who don't like this type of game would of not liked the text based games we played in 80's where your imagination painted the graphics along with the storyline.

Which does bring up something. If those are actual players I sent to the hospital or killed by the hundreds over the past hour, I've probably got bunch of very annoyed people at me, which in that case, I'm sorry. There is nothing more dangerous in a game than a person who knows enough to use the controls in a game but not enough on HOW they should be playing the game.

I VAGUELY remember playing this game months ago for some badges, and played today to get the "Expansion Abroad Badge" for the Badge of the Day. I forgot how to play the game, I couldn't find a full user guide, just a FAQ page, so I decided to just do a bunch of fights. Who I was fighting, I have no idea, but I got the BotD by reacjomg Lv. 50 in under a hour. I just found fought someone with as few mobs as possible until it wouldn't let me fight them anymore, then fought another person. When I leveled up, I would spread points evenly into health, attack, and defense, leaving 10 skill points to spare in case I needed to level up my stamina by 5. Since I got 1 favor point per level plus bonus favor points for doing win streak achievements I bought a 20-30 favor point Patriot Semi Auto weapon, Stay Cool Specs armor, and Stay Cool APC vehicle when I had enough favor points saved up. It was VERY boring, no idea WHY it works, but it did. /shrug

OK, I understand now. The problem I had before was that I tried the challenge which gives you a severely limited amount of bullets and restores them at a rate of 1 per HOUR. I just got the achievement by instead selecting "fight" over and over again, recovering health when necessary and upgrading stats when possible. After that, I got the badge in about half an hour. For anyone starting from scratch, maybe 1 hour, give or take? Then again, I did have about $23 Million in my account when I started. Maybe that was idle income from being offline for so long? Sorry about my previous comment about the BOTD, devs. The comment about not being able to upgrade from the achievement screen when I had a skill point still stands, though. If it makes a difference (apparently it does), it said I had 25 wins in a row. Maybe there's something about that specific value for that achievement which is causing the error.

Wow! After winning teh "Staying Alive" achievement, I got 2 skill points. It allowed me to put 1 of them into energy, but the other skill point is just sitting there no matter how many times I click the clickable button even though it only costs 1 SP. Wow... GREAT job, dev team.

This week's BotD is quite simple actually. As written in the description, just put all points into Energy and Stamina equally. Don't increase Stamina over 50 as levelup refill is limited by 50. Do job/boss/fight attacks and get the badge in a few dozen of minutes.
