Very bugged game, that is why I hold atm 2 highscores...
Idea of the game is pretty good... I wish more upgrades and more effective... :-|

Heh, both Genu and Epic were easily beaten first time. Make sure you have bought Healing Technique (from normal in-level store) and Dark Recovery (from epic in-level store). After that, it's just learning patterns (kill all the mini-ships that accompany the boss first).

i chose the destroyer and it gave me the red one, it wouldnt let me move or shoot, i had infinite armor and shield though .......but ya i couldnt do any thing, but it does look like it would be fun like others have said

Oh gosh, yet another 2D shooter. Same old crap, now with worse hit detection, stupider story, and unbelievably bad music. Why bother having shields and armor when there's stuff that can still just kill you instantly?

wasnt too bad once u got the "bonus lasts forever & bonus persists through levels" upgrades.
went for the triple wave upgrade and sticked to it, killed the lv20 and 25 boss on first attempt when using that.

There's a really strange bug, I lost on the level 19, and when I clicked load I appeared on level 2, and there are no enemies!! 0/5

Quinn's Review: One of the best of the old arcade-style top-scroller space fighter games here on Kongregate, Enigmata is a very well crafted game indeed. The opening graphics are sterling, and though the amateurish Neko lets down the game a little, everything else looks stunning. The ships are well realised, the shop is well balanced and forces you to make some real decisions about how you want to spec your ship - and to complement that you can have multiple ships outfitted differently, which is a great touch. The achievements realistic, although not knowing what they are in advance it's hard to work towards them. The difficulty curve is good - it doesn't jump in diff, but you do require better strats the further you go. Everything a space shooter should be.

P.S. blue ship sucks go for red or orange, and the boss worlds hard as HELL. loled at the level 107 thing though.

Loved this game. got pretty much every power up and my ship was godly. but even then the bosses where still hard. 5/5
