An Interesting trick: if you get the time stop in the Nebula Shop and then buy the thing that rapidly recharges your energy but leaves you in Darkness for a while in the Legendary Shop, then you can use them together to beat bosses easier. First, you activate time stop, and then you activate the energy recovery. You have to press the D button again every couple of seconds, but it will extend the duration of the time stop by quite a bit.

if you get the bosskiller generator then complete a level, you can just leave it there while you eat lunch or something like that and you will keep getting more and more bosskillers.

Delerium: missle auto switching is controlled in the options menu. agree, for the most part on the second, though if you pick up enima, you can ignore all the x's, making dodging bad bonuses much simpler

why is my game so gliched?it makes me have infinite ammo, infinnate health, but wont let me move around and i start with different ship!?

two things I don't like towards the end game.
1. Auto-switch of missiles every time you collect one. If we have a missile selected and we pick one up, don't switch. It's dumb. In a boss fight when I'm using boss killers, I don't want to switch back to normal missiles just because I picked one up.
2. bonuses are too chaotic. When your bonuses last forever, going through a level feels like the lottery. Good weapon, bad weapon, good weapon, bad weapon. If we collect bonuses, either tier them so that the highest always stays active over the rest, or allow us to switch. I shouldn't be punished for touching a bad bonus weapon.

I was able to defeat boss without energy regeneration or time stop, just try to get the ion wave boost before the battle and avoid anything red.

This game is Lame.
I play at work and for some reason it unpaused while I was actually working... came back to it 20 minutes later and my ship was still chugging away... ...
What's the point of playing a game that can play itself?

1/3 Sorry for the super-long comment, but this game bloody-well rocks! ... I enjoyed this game. I'm a sucker for a game where I can buy/win upgrades, and while I don't normally enjoy top-down space shooters (I have a really nasty habit of zagging when I should have zigged, and the like) this one is forgiving enough with the healing and time stop additions. I got most of the way through the game and then encountered the infinite energy because you bought the black market shield/armor convert add on. This prompted me to start cycling saves so as to have a way to recover if it happened again (at first I had no idea what had caused it). Of course, after initially being annoyed I decided it was a good chance to try out so of the other ships. I can safely say after trying out the other two factions I enjoy the orange fellows the most. The game seems to be well designed and enjoyable (I've killed about five hours or so just coming back every now and again to shot stuff up).

2/3 Dodging the bad power ups, early in the game, was a massive drain on my energy. That just means, though, that you either need to dodge rather well or you need to hurry up and get the add on to negate all "bad" power ups. Later in the game, some of the good power ups (tetra shot, oh how I loathe thee) need to be dodged as well. This, in my opinion, adds to the fun (and it's why you save before the mission, especially when you have the awesome quad-laser or semi-circle wave-blaster [the laser and quad-laser both slowed down my frame rate. I think that the semi-circle wave-blaster is more powerful, anyways, too. And it pierces.], or even those ultra power double missile launcher [hold the onions]).

3/3 In my first game I got two 3-million drops on the third level. I remember trying to kill one of the derelicts (they're the grey "enemies" that don't fire back, have enough health to stock a large army, and look like a pile of junk) and getting no where. Of course, with the quad-laser or semi-circl wave-blaster, they only take a few tens of seconds to take down. I have yet (I've killed about a dozen, give or take three) of them and only twice have they not personally dropped the three million drop. The first time they didn't it was the third one on a run, and after my initial disappointment the very next enemy dropped it instead. The second time it took three enemies to drop it. I have yet to see them NOT drop one or trigger one to be dropped. Good luck to everyone else that wants to go for the three-million drops. Just remember that they aren't all that hard to get if you know where to get them! Sorry for the long comment, but though this game rocks!

what I hate most is that this basically bastardizes one of my favourite arcade type games; raptor... Everything that was great about that game (except the ridiculous overpowered twin azure cannons, last weapon) is ruined in this game by bad balance, unnessecary elements and overall lousy gameplay.

further imbalances/ bad gameplay: Amazatron upgrade makes many bonusses not only obsolete, but a pest (ultra fire, tetra fire etc). Also, the legendary shop item that upgrades the rares, removes the effect of the black market item that makes bonusses permanent, resulting in it being a lousy upgrades. To sum it up, items dont work well together, especially the expensive ones. And others are ridiculously powerful (darkness recharge/ energy recharge item + time stop is basically a limitless time stop)

Try to keep this going in the comments. To fix the energy glitch, it is because you bought the all armor/all shield equip. Unequip it and Buy the opposite one. Use it for one mission and then sell both as to never have this problem again. The problem is it gives you infinite shield/infinite armor and somehow conflicts with the energy until you can have both armor AND shield again.

Ah, cheesy over-the-top space shooting. It makes me feel like finding a copy of Raiden and trying to do a no-hit run.

glich--- to finish any boss late game get to the legendary shop and get the darkness energy conversion item. and make sure you have the stop time. if you hold down 'd' and 'm' while shooting you stop time forever basically.
