@ kalstras - seriously? That's how you do it? Awww ... if you have 3-legged and 4-legged, just multiply the combined head count by 4, substract combined leg count, and you have the number of 3-legged.

129 legs and 35 heads? how many 3-legged cows? 59 but leaves -24 Chickens
Although there wouldn't be a "3-legged-cow", the statement implies a mathematical system:
x = number of cows
y = number of chickens (in case you didn't know).
3x + 2y = 129
x + y = 35
Multiply the 2nd equation by 2.
2x + 2y = 70
Subtract the 2 equations:
x = 59 cows
70 + y = 35
y = -24
Therefore, there are 59 cows and -24 chickens, according to the conjecture given.

Typically retarded. As you grow in level, you just have to wait a lot for energy and skills to recharge. Imbalanced crap that's out for money, not fun after level 20 or so.

The female soldier pet is superb at level 38 onwards, because of the comrade guard ability; Phoenix is nowhere near...

Yeah, as I go further, the game is totally frustrating now. It's not fun at all. The puzzles and trivias are pure guessing, fighting requires skill points, energy takes too long to recharge, too easy to get banned for no reason. 1/5 for this game.

Sword of f8, at level 38, I can't even get through a level in two full energy loads. That means 42*4= 168 minutes * 3 = 504 minutes = over 8 hours every level. The first 25 levels you can get through in a couple of hours, but after that it's just a waiting game. A bad one at that.

This game is linear with no learning curve. Frustrating to say the least. So hopeful that there would be a level of depth. Instead, the author left us with a game whose premise is "play me more!" rather than skill or choice. I hate to bring stats into the game, but the only function this author knows how to use is a random normal distribution. That is IT. so no skill, just level up and move through his distribution functions. Sorry to geek out, but a lot of games are math centered...just a thought.

The answer to the chicken and cows question is an equation. For example, the cows have 3 legs, and chickens have 2 legs. There are 112 heads and 246 legs. To solve, you set up two equations. X variable is the chickens, and Y variable is the cows. Thus you get 2 equations: 2x + 3y = 246 (This is for the legs, 2x meaning 2 legs for the chickens, and 3y for 3 legs of cows); and x + y = 112 (This is for the number of heads). Mine asked how many chickens, so you use the head equation to solve for y (so y = 112-x) and plug that into the legs equation. Solve for x (which the equation would be set up: 2x+3(112-x)=246). The answer I got was 90, which was correct. Hope this helped!

I find it quite disgusting that a developer would delete feedback on his game, just because its criticism. my 3/5 just became a 1/5 just for that.
Fail Dev is fail.

The devs are actually deleting forum posts if someone critiques the game. Not like, bashing and cursing. Just someone's opinions about the game. I guess they don't have access to deleting comments. http://www.kongregate.com/forums/3-general-gaming/topics/75515-misanthrope-game-reviews-dream-world
That is the thread they deleted.

totally agree with GangstaKahn. It's just a Question "How far will you go for a badge" very similar thing at sacred seasons wich i personally hate. I mean a medium badge for playing like 1 zillion hours???

A healthy break... So if I want to spend as much energy as possible without gems, that's a 3hr 20min break for 50 max energy. I'd have to wake up in the middle of the night. That doesn't seem healthy at all.

I've concluded that this can't possibly be a sincere attempt at a game. It's either a social experiment to see how much drudgery can be enforced for badges or how little work can be put into a game and still get micropayments.

Please slow down the energy accumulation rate. I would like only 1 point/turn per day hence it taking over 6 years to win the: Golden Hero Badge (hard - 30 points) 2,000 monsters killed.
Gracias.

The game wont load for me in any of my three browsers I use except firefox, and in firefox, I can't use the skills and the text is jumbled and piled on top of other text.
The game is unplayable like this. 1/5

parrotman, energy is not the same as skill points..... Energy is what you need to continue doing ANYTHING, not what you need to fight the hard battles. Running out of energy can become very frustrating when you get to level 20 or so.

this game is just trying to be sexy. rebel consort? soldier ally? oh well, I dont mind.
those of you who are spam posting about energy recharge: I am a mage and run out of energy all the time. i just fight lower levels and it isnt a big deal. or you could just get some money and buy the fairy dust. this just isnt a big problem...

Special note: the formula used to set up the treasure chest's farm question needs some limits and safeties... "On a farm there are three-legged-cows and horses. There are total of 109 heads and 340 legs. How many three-legged-cows are on the farm?" ... 3 x 109 = 327, so there's no 'realistic' answr, only a mathematical one if you make it into a formula (340 - 2 x 109 = 122, with -13 chickens)
