@LordMark Yup, this is a Grinding/Farming game... about the only thing you'd need to pay for is to win KoD. Lots of strategy here though, like the fact that player level doesn't have much of any impact on player Strength. Stats are Exceedingly important for strength, and the only way to build those is to play. Past the "main" game, it's time to focus on the ~55 Other badges, finding cards for KoD, building Faction levels. All are only done by playing (farming, grinding, whatever you want to call it). The game is a slow burner, there's a reason people are still playing 12 years on.
Not building your character right (leveling too fast) really kills the fun though, or at least it did for me and I restarted a couple times till I learned how to not have a weak character. Search Xlegna's Leveling Guide for a good primer

I wonder just how much would change if the easter/christmas bunny events had a chance to drop a card. Maybe not an overpowered card like the Hell bosses upward but the city bosses/demon gates/and so on.

Not a bad game by any means but once you complete the main story it quickly becomes a pay (or grind) to play game. Examining other players of the same level (54), I noticed that they were not only one class ahead of me but almost double my stats as well. Having better items than them means next to nothing. I would recommend that anyone who doesn't want to spend real dollars on this to not spend time playing but instead just login and collect your free crystals every day. Eventually you'll start earning gems from them which can be spent on decent rewards that might make the game interesting again.

@v4mofo If I swap out a premium ally for another one, and then swap back to the first one, do I lose any advancement in their skills?

@Arus51 nope, 2 maximum storage slots for the free allies and the Bank, but you won't use those once you get the Premiums, and you can have ALL of those if you want to. ~CRW

why is your character always weak in PvP (Arena)? Weak enemies with shitty gear, few monster kills, low stats and stuff will (sometimes, this seem to be very random) tank my attacks to a point they barely deal 600 damage, and they hit me for like... 4000? it's clearly programmed to be that way, but why?

907 faction pts, 14284 chests opened, 65035 puzzles solved, and many other stats for my 100% manually play, and kingk says "you're not a manual player, u use scripts and I ban you". So sad...

Well I got my 1st arena pass in 4 days of playing and it was good for 1 battle, so apparently I need 19 more extremely rare passes to complete the quest... does the creator of the game want people to 1 star the game?

The final quest is broken and bugged, when I fight councilor troi for example her hp is 20k, but if I challenge her after losing her hp goes up to 80k. I have to run away and challenge from in town again. Also, it doesn't matter how much gold you collect and how many skill levels you buy as the town leaders can one shot kill you because you cant buy good enough armor or weps from the shops, not because one cannot afford them but because their isn't any good enough to match

I ended up giving the game 1 star due to randomness of puzzles and when I answered Ruby to a trivia question to be told its not right and they correct answer is Rubies

I adore that game saving my progress (lv30+) even when using a different browser and device, just still connected with kongregate :-) also playable on windows7-firefox & windows8.1-basilisk.

An important note: the wording for the Strength stat is kind of misleading when it says "equip more items". You DO need to keep raising it to equip higher grade weapons and armor, but don't pour so many points into it expecting to be able to equip more than one, or more items at once. Besides Melee damage, it specifically refers to the "Need str" part of the shops.

Ok Yes I did miss, That you can switch between Classes and use say a Heal spell in your Wizard and then go back to what ever your 'Other' class is and Finish your enemy off! You Always Must check OFF the Auto Attack Feature at the top right of game GUI. the thing is you can not play very long because you run out of Energy too fast, even though it 'Refills' to slow. be nice to get a Energy Potion drop, because the game already has all the other 'Refiller' npcs you meet on your Journey. Please At least put a Volume Slider that will stay at user preferred level through out game screen changes. TY.

Be Nice if you could get a mouse over on your Skills, Telling you What they DO. all Heal skills are pointless because the Guardian of Dreams Heals you after every battle and you can not change attack skills in mid fight so they are pointless unless I missed something...

@fakezero It's a math problem. The one I got was Horses and 3-legged cows, 91 heads and 347 legs. First make 2 different equations (H+C=91, 4H+3C=347). Next, get a variable by itself in the second equation (subtract 3C from both sides, 4H=347-3C then divide both sides by 4, H=(347-3C)/4). Substitute this for H in the first equation ((347-3C)/4+C=91)) multiply everything by 4 (347-3C+4C=364), add the C's together (347+C=364) subtract 347 from both sides to get the variable (C=17). Solve the first equation with the new C value (H+17=91, H=74). The answer is whichever animal they ask for.
