And to the "luck based" element... Almost every game is somewhat luck based. Definitely any game with cards. This is basically a variation on Rock, Paper, Scissors, with a lot more combinations of moves. To a large extent RPS is luck based, but there is a definite strategic element.

For you guys with the big game windows, maybe you should increase your screen resolution? It sounds like you haven't optimized your resolutions, maybe.

LethalBiscuit is correct. The game is a little too "luck based", but if you can read your opponents mind and find a pattern in the moves of EVERY opponent you face, you can beat them with plain intercepts, switches, and Chakkra Boomerangs (whatever the move is called).

too luck based, i missed a move with 97% hit rate 3 times in a row my person died i then missed a move which had 90% hit rate twice in a row

@noobapalooza: And while we all wait for these extra cards and increased drop rate, you have people playing dozens and hundreds of games with the same old cards getting more and more sick of the game, waiting for drops that never come. I have 50 wins, from which I won 1 card (that was an item and of no use to me). That’s just retarded. Something needs to be done about how people get cards or people (like yours truly) are just going to give up and stop playing. I have heard of others where the numbers are even worse – 100, 150 or more wins with no cards. I guess just screw those people. They’re unlucky, too bad for them.

I'm with you Maggot... 35 wins and 0 cards its starting to get frustrating. I understand we don't want everyone to get all the cards at once, but there should be a way to reliably get some that isn't pure luck.

i beat the Kong-Bot like 5 times and it says i need 2 more to win for the challange there. Is that like a bug or something?

just to let everyone know the reason that the card drop rate is so low is because theres only 46 cards so if it was higher then people could have a full deck in like a week. But they will probably add more crads and when they do then the card rate will probably go up.

If it's SUPPOSED to be every 10 or so wins, then they need to do something to even out the randomness a bit. I'm about to give up. I don't need ALL of the cards now but progress is nice.

Jim: godsend was correct, you simply haven't gotten lucky. He made it sound like you got one for every ten wins, but it's actually a ten percent chance of getting a card EACH win. Thus you COULD get several before you even reached level 2, but it would be very unlikely. Just stick in there, you'll get one eventually. I have 66 wins, and I won 3 cards. I didn't win one till at least 30 wins, so I share in your misery.

2 Suggestions:
1. Make getting cards quicker in ranked games. (played over 40 and got 1 card)
2. When you do get a card, you should be able to choose from a selection of 3(?) random cards that you do not already own.

wouldn't it be cool if you could rate your opponents? that would hopefully eliminate some of the sluggishness with opponents moves. Also, does refreshing work if you are dissconeted? It seemed to work for me a couple of times.
