If they were gonna make a story mode, like riverviewroyal said, that wouldn't be such a good idea... If they did have single player the only thing i can think of is if they had 300 cards and it was designed like those game boy advance pokemon games.

The Private Game or trying to join a public game and play with ppl I know still has a hard time working right. We either don't see the other persons game, or by the time we join with a public one, or see its open, it has already tried to force someone else into it.

IDEA-
Story mode. YOu could do a player mode where you'll be able to chose your nation like the vampires etc. so you could use only those cards durning the story time and mayble a chance to win a card if you complate that story mode. if you completed it with a nation you could do it again with an other nation. I don't want to make a story cuz im bored and im not realy good at it. Every time i said this idea at the chat everybody said 'yep its a good idea' ' 'YEAH!!' ect. so maybe it's not a bad idea as well.
So for example the jungle guys( popo, ubumtu...) hate the amazones ( helene,... .. ..) and they are at war you could chose which side you prefer and make peace by killing them i think i dont have to explain more.

"Idea – Throw option
Counters Intecept, does 25 damage and forces opponent to switch to a character who also receives 25 damage. Throw eliminates energy gain the next round. Failed Throw stuns the user.
Gives an option to players who can predict their enemy’s Intercept but have no energy to attack, and resting would not be rewarding enough."
I like that idea. It would add some more thought to the game.
@bigsword33: Blood vial can only be equipped to certain types of character. There are different factions with items specific to each.

The "card" aspect of this online CCG is rather broad.
U dont draw a card to play, and all the cards in your hand are "in play" already. Having a Character select screen wouldn't be any different (ie Pick your Team: character A, or character B, or character C, etc).
The only identifiable card characteristic is the fact that u have collect them. But then again that could just as easily have been the same as having a 3% chance of "unlocking" a new character in the Character Select screen each time u win....

ah lucifal just figure what cards counter im assuming shaman's.....anyways just a suggestion or maybe i don't know if there is something like this but you should be able to trade cards with people

for all of you who are complaining about this game being pure luck... its NOT. there is "some" luck involved but your decisions have way more of an impact then the luck does.. i think the amount of luck in this game is just right :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Then higher level of defeated enemy then higher chance to win card...that could be nice... and maybe another match type.. for example deathmatches where player who host a game choose amount of characters(to start match quickly in deck builder should be an option to build deck from all available characters and if someone has for example 10 characters deck and other player host 8 characters deathmatch only 8 first characters enter match... ) the possibility of winning cards from deathmatch winning should depend on number of characters in match...

just lost like straight lots of matches... due to ridiculous luck. In few matches, miss like 75% of all my attacks, and every single poison with 25% strike me, while mine never procs....
Crazy Random luck... really pissed now

Just a small thing with the game that seems ununiform to me...you put R1 and K in the corners of earned cards and yet plaster STARTER across the cards that are starters? Don't both items do the same thing by identifying where the card came from...why not clean it up and put "S1" or something like that in the corner of the starter cards?

Mistake: What do you think, who is right? The person who says LUCK LUCK LUCK and nothing else, nor any proof - or the one who can PROVE that it isnt LUCK LUCK LUCK?
Think about that.

BTW, playing games against a sap and having them forfeit right away and repeat the process is not a fast way to win cards. This does not work. I tested it and verified it.
No cards won for either person while alternating forfeits.

Public Service Announcement
If you havent been on kongregate a long time and you dont have any cards - if you want to have a good account, do this:
Play 20 - 25 matches to win up to 10 cards with random decks
THEN
Do available challenges
THEN
Pick Starter cards

I'm getting frustrated with this card winning system i have 15 cards and i have 50 wins and i have won 0 cards. in beta testing had like 60 wins and 2 cards did they lower the chance for a card or what?

Find a buddy, play only private games against him/her, alternate forfeiting right away, repeat until all cards are gotten.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The chance is based on the number of cards you have. For people with just a few cards or even no cards, winning three in a row might be very likely.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ Scion: No I don't think that's luck. There's probably 400 people like you, and the rest get cards like every 30th game. The differences fall into a curved pattern; the game has a screwed up card-earning formula.

Remember Items are color based... if the item has a colored background besides grey then you can only equip it with a character of the same color group.

I agree with hedhunter. I think that a person vs person practice area would be a great idea. Recently, I have gotten a quite a few cards in a short time and I would like to test them out to see if they are better than my current team.

i just recently completed the newest challenge for the Blood Vial Card... when i try to combine it with another one of my cards, add it to a deck, i cant... its weird

There is no such thing as luck in this game. Even though sometimes I say my opponents are lucky, my statements are false. Because this is a program, there has to be a mathematical algorithm to determine miss/ crit hit rates. If you aren't able to take on the stun your opponent gave you, then you either suck or you were doomed from the start (i.e. you didn't use the right strategy, or you missed that intercept). I know it sounds radical but this is the truth.

Don't get me wrong, i love the bot. I play randoms against it all the time and discover interesting combinations that i wouldn't have found on my own. But a real player could also help me see if that was actually a really good team/item combo, or just decent
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
One thing which I would really like to see added is the ability so "scrimage" a friend. like, if you want to try out a deck against someone a lot smarter than a bot. These matches wouldn't count for your record nor could you win cards, but it would also allow new players to gain some real practice. there would definately be a limit on the number, say 5 per week or something. but often i want to try a new combination, and the bot just isn't up to a real test. I dominate the Bot and get thrashed when I take it out to the real world. I know its difficult at best to upgrade A.I. to a human level, especially without letting it peek sometimes at what attacks you will use, but what do you think Kongrgate?
