I do not like the scanty clothing. This might be surprising to some of the developers, because I am a guy. I think it is in very poor taste. Wow, has Kongregate lowered their standards or something?

nvm,i just found a bug, i started a game with this guy,but it was taking a while to load,so i said leave,then i lost.....
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I can't find any bugs, but you guys did a good job on this game.I'm not usually into this type of game, but it's ADDICTING!

I agree with the person who said you should change the order of the range buttons to : pass, close, far. I can't tell you how many matches have been messed up b/c either me or my opponent hit the wrong button...or maybe arrows to show the difference instead of dots?

The innate ability to block swaps should be a precentage... It could be high (like 50-75%), but complete block is unfair...
And the innate ability to disable one attack seems to be based on available attacks (power and range), it should just disable 1 of 4 attacks at random, if it is an attack you can't use, then it doesn't affect you.

I would like some animation for the character's attacks, and some more balance for the amount of energy used per move. However, great game for a beta.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I must admit, as soon as I started to play this I was dissapointed, but after a few games I got the feel for the game, haven't yet won a card though. The downside at the moment is how slow the computer chooses his/her moves. I got my bum kicked on the online part though!
Average game at the moment, hell it's only in Beta testing!

seriously like 5 times in a row i was in a battle and it reset my browser it seems only to affect PvP games not PvC games..

I'm really enjoying this game!
Some character entrance/exit movements seem buggy (sometimes characters don't make it all the way on screen), and it would be cool if I could see all three of the opponent's cards including the one currently in play. It also seems like it is hard to mouse over someone's item AND read it at the bottom left of the screen. Might be tough for those w/ smaller screens or lower resolutions.
Hit/damage mechanics don't make lots of sense to me right now.
I like the switch/intercept strategy element.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
evil_mario: the disavantage to switching out is getting intercepted for 35 damage. if you never know when your opponent is going to switch out, it's not the game's problem.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I agree with savagehero and chucho90. There should be some disadvantage to switching your character. I've found it's a very cheap tactic to use.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Definitely... playing a ton of matches to win a card you won't ever use because it's useless to your build it's really crap. Also, criticals are just a *PITA*. No fun when you tactically overwhelmed your foe, and then you die because he's a lucky bitch and scores two criticals in a row.

There should be a way of creating a game for certain people. Eg. Put a password option when hosting games. I want to play against a freind; it is hard to do it and i feel mean kicking people that arnt him.

IGNORE LAST COMMENT (it coded stuff)
switch the “get close” and “get far”” buttons’ positions. The setup that they are in now (pass) (far) (close) goes AGAINST the mind’s natural way of thinking, and is seen no where else in video games.
It should be
(pass) (close) (far)

Scarbt, it won't be a next gen game. It is a flash based game. You are expecting too much. If you don't like card games then don't play it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Overall it is just very boring and not fun to play. Its like a super dumbed down version of Magic or hell even Pokemon.
Where am I supposed to be excited to play? When am I supposed to be drawn into the game and feel accomplished in winning?
I would of thought that a gaming website, would come up with something a little better than a card based game as their "Signature" game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the not taking any damsge when switching is part of the game. you can damage him by intercepting. intercept is a 100% 35 damage attack that dosts no engery, you must "just" guess rightly...
if you dislike that use attacks that even hit when your enemy switches and items that discourage switching. the character tafarin could also be to your liking. i hate him, as it totally takes away guesswork for the players that use them, and thus i am easier to read...

Grrr. I finally get invited to this, only to find it's a total luck-based piece of crap.
If this is going to be an enjoyable game, several things need to be addressed:
methods of balance (instead of a huge power, but very low accuracy, maybe an equal power and accuracy? I'm looking at you Popo.)
switching out (a "coward penalty" perhaps?)
The luck factor (90% does not equal 50%. And it should not somehow magicly be 0% when I need it to work.)
Ambience (character grunts, heavy breathing when low on stamina, beating heart when low on health, etc.)

found a bug. i got disconnected then got reconnected. but then all the buttons stoped working. dont know what happend
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
when the opponent change his card the next card appearing should take the attack damage...not just avoid it...he can win with just changing and changing his card
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
there should be a cost to switch or something its annoying when your oppent switches every 2 turns and gets back all there energy >.<

Anticipation: agreed, a way to play a specific player is definatly needed. If not a private host than perhaps a challenge option?
Kilgore: While luck plays a part it is only about 10% or less. While it makes it harder, a good player can overcome a random crit or miss without too much trouble. If you are having trouble rethink your deck and/or your mind-reading skills. After all, the luck goes both ways.

indy5000 sorry if you are a woman is ok but if you are a men the comment sounds gay but like i said i dont know if you are a men :p

*Suggestion:* It would be nice if you could create private games with a password or something, so you could play a friend easier.

I really really want to like this game. I think the art is great and the characters are interesting. It has all the elements needed for a good game - except interesting gameplay.
As it is, there are two factors involved in playing this game: being able to guess what you're oppnent will do (1) and sheer outright dumb luck (2). Arguably, the first element is part of the second element.
As a result, it doesn't feel like anything I do matters. I can try as hard as I want, but I'll still lose if my characters miss a few times while his crit. I could also try not very hard and still win by getting a few lucky procs. Since anything I do outside of switching and intercepting is fully dependent on luck, what this really becomes is a game about who can execute their switches and intercept with the highest degree of success. And since both successful switches and failed intercepts waste an entire round without any damage being done, it just feels like a huge waste of time.

I am just in the match with a person that seems to be away of the computer... Game goes on automatically, however it takes ages (I don't want to forfeit the game, as it yields nothing -- except for defeat, I think).
I would like to suggest a solution, that might be, I think, easy to implement: in OPTIONS a query that is send to your opponent: "Are you there?". This query pops up a dialogue in opponents game, that has to be answered correctly "Yes" for the game to go on. In case of not answering the game is forfeit on the behalf of the opponent, giving the player a win -- rightfully earned, as the opponent practically gave up.
I hope that it comes in handy. I really would like to see that option implemented -- I just entered Kongai test and this "dead" opponent came up. I wonder if it happens often...

It should have a "card seeker",where you can see all the cards and the ones u hav
by the way, great game 5/5 but i cant rate yet
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
lol, touch of doom should NOT be dispelled when switching out. That doesn't make a whole lot of sense, just sounds like someone is mad.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
problem with the starter card choose. I choose my 3 cards, then press save, and a popup keeps coming and saying "you need to choose 3 cards"
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The in-game "Earn cards" menu says there's a 2% chance to win a card, while the instructions says its a 3% chance.
I've also seen both things in the comments here.
So, wich one is it?
İf you could, please correct it.
