high6jump, most players agree that feathered Juju is a pretty good starter mostly because it's fairly safe to switch him out against a bad matchup. People will rarely try to intercept a Juju with full energy. The feather helps some against VV and CC because their high damage attacks are physical and they are common starters.
Juju with feather can be strong, yes... if the feather procs... however, if feathered Juju alone wipes one's deck TWICE. They're doing it wrong.
Granted, I might not be top tier as I'm only floating around SR30 on two accounts, but having played over 1k matches (almost all of them ranked) and having played/played against feathered Juju quite a bit, I don't really agree with the OP statement.

Hahahahaha @ "[Juju] has no major defenses". I mean, JujuFeather is the most defensible character in the entire game. He can take a beating then heal up the damage afterwards. In addition to his innate blocking a variety of debuffs, muti-hit light and dark magic attacks aren't generally worth using on him, and he has a reasonable chance of dodging at least one physical attack per game. Like ValkAnex, I wouldn't consider him broken (that is, he doesn't destroy the game), but he IS on the overpowered side.

I don't have a lot of cards so I always play on random. It would be great if there were a ranked random v random option so that I don't always have to play against constructed decks with my random pile of cards. Also, it would be good if you got to choose your character order when playing on random. I've been forced to start andromeda 2 of my last 3 games.

@ sinsaint, MLM is generally considered low tier. @ PeuDragon, while the player matters more than the cards, it is far easier to win with certain ones than it is with others. @ Sjrand- It has been suggested a lot, but I'm afraid that descriptions in chat and youtube videos are the closest we'll ever get

that would be a good thought. perhaps maybe a multi-multi player game would be good too? everyone uses only the first card, and 4 players, 2 on each team.

who thinks it would be cool if you could "watch in" on a match... new players could learn from better players and better pyers could watch a match and afterward advise the people on what to work on. and any deck suggestions.

however, I do feel that the vampire with the two absorbtion abilities is a little too strong. he can suck you dry, then teleport when you get too far to attack. And if he is weak, just switching him out gains him 20 life. his debuff ability, which one or two other vampires have, costs absolutely nothing, which, I believe, is the only attack with no cost. I really hate fighting him.

juju simply outlasts the enemy. simply dodge his touch of doom by switching, then kill him as fast as you can. He has no major defenses, so anything will do. Just don't use debuffs, his innate ability has a 30% chance of destroying them on his turn. so inflicting the touch of doom on juju himself does virtually nothing.

Peu is right, its not the cards, its the players, some cards are better, but if the person using them sucks they aint gonna win

LoL , for those who say that JuJu isnt' overpowered. You really need to play the metagame... if mirror JuJu match wasn't that boring and infinite, JuJu will be spread everywhere.

Riiight... I've come to the conclusion that this whole talk about cards being OP is just because some very good players use them... My deck is an all amazon, an I don't even use ValkAnex, and yet I've managed to beat every single "uber" deck with them... Lost to all of them too... So, in the end, its about skill and some luck, not OP cards

I think Hex is a bit strong with what Juju already has... if you get close he can do a 99 dmg debuff, if you get far he has a fairly cheap heal, or again, a fairly cheap strong attack :\

@Crusader32 I agree. Juju with feather wiped out my deck twice yesterday. He's wonderful against ValkAnex if he starts fighting her up close. His innate sometimes cancels out Spirit Assistance so he does decently against UB too, making him common deck killer.

A better solution would be to update the game frequently enough that the metagame didn't stagnate and you saw a wider variety of characters for viable ladder play. But yeah, you can only see ValkAnex so many times before your head explodes.

The real win rate for cards is about 20-25%, not the oft-mentioned 40%, which means you need to grind out more like 40-50 wins, not 20, before you get your 10 cards. A new player is unlikely to be able to beat the metadeck with an all random deck, and about everyone SR20 or higher plays some variation of the metadeck.
In other words, in trying for those 40-50 wins, you're going to end up losing as many or even more games than you win. All of a sudden you're looking at a 100-150 game investment @ 5-10 min a game just to get your 10 cards.
If they want to grow the community, either bring back 3 challenges a week or seriously bump up the win rate. The status quo is just too crushingly against new players to attract that many to stay.

25 wins = 10 cards, then you do the current challenge for another, then you pick 3 starters after that. 25 wins playing Random All for 14 cards is not exactly that tough nor does it take that long. (This is assuming you don't pick starters at first, which unfortunately most new players do.)

Yeah, I know, but you can't get cards from Practice, and it's very hard when you start the game with 3 cards only...
And after several losses, finaly a win, but no cards rewarded.. Kinda frustrating... It requires lots and lots and lots of wins to get some cards, and start building a decent deck.

phabyos: Skill is drastically more important than the cards used - just play Random All to start. The game is balanced enough overall that you can win with anything if you're better than your opponent. (That's not to say there aren't imbalances, like how awful Helene is, but the big picture is decent!)

Crusader32: Taf starts are usually a bad idea actually. Basically you might get lucky and catch a Rumiko, but otherwise you're at a disadvantage in most matchups.

So, Iwent to play some ranked, waited 30 secs, decided to leave because noone was coming. Right as I hit cancel, an opponent showed up, I picked my deck, it counted down then it said "you lose." I thought to myself, that sucks, went to play again and suddenly the game started. I made my first move, waited for my opponent for 60 seconds while he did nothing, then declared victory. I really wish I knew why that all happened.

the new cards are coming along. there is a forum topic in the kongregate section about naming one of the cards. apparently it has all attack names and is based off of a hitchiker's guide to the galaxy reference.

She's not just good versus vamps, she's good versus anything with high dark resist. Which is a lot more than just vamps. And she's hardly equivalently weak against most non-dark-resist chars.

Karkadinn: VV may be tough at melee, but she's also really fragile. Most close range based character can take her out easily. She's *supposed* to be good against the vampires, that's what her character is about.

dude this games fun but they need like etra rare cards like one time event and thats it kinda thing but stiil fun 5/5
