This game is almost all about luck... mostly because of switching characters.. This action should cost energy or at least switching cooldown should take longer..

although i dislike this game i can appreciate that it took lots of time and effort to make, and you can see that from the graphics and the system etc.
im giving it 4/5 even though its not my cup of tea xD

they should makes cards tradable with the pc... maybe make it so that you can exchange only determinate couple of cards time. EX for a green you need to give the pc a purple...
so they'll avoid the multi account problem that will occur with trade between players

A very good game a lot of scope for different tactics. There should be a trading system or something to make the game more sociable, and a spectate option, and a tournament option and a ........
Well theres alot of ways for the game to improve, but so far it is on the right track for a new game.

bug, when i go to deck builder and make a 3 card deck with acromeda the archer, the warrior princess, and rukimo the ninja, instead of showing acromeda it shows 2 warrior princesses.

Odd that a successful intercept doesnt count as physical damage. And while this really only matters to Tafari, the questions arises: what kind of damage is Intercept, if not physical damage?

50% Strategy / 50% luck. It is undoubtedly a slightly more complex rock paper scissors. Strategy gets you only so far, then clever guess work gets you the rest. I would have preferred a little more strategy but it's unique to say the least. Eventually the luck factor destroys the fun and I've now lost my motivation to keep coming back to this site every 5 days.

In response to jrbacon also, Intercept doesn't necessarily work.
To others remarking on the slow pace or difficulty in loading... it requires a fair bit more processing power than most games here.
That may be your problem.

ok it have been fully dedicated to getting all the cards up till this point. i feel so ripped off. this game is boring as hell and i cant stand the combat style. 2/5

Just hope not many ppl use drag the timer till the max strategy all the time. Had one guy used it even though he was winning. Caused a supposedly fast fun game to last like 20+ min.

In regard to intercept damage being too high, you can certainly imagine that it is actually backstab damage as the character is fleeing the battle.

so far not impressed, there seems to be some drastic balance issues between the cards. I have to agree with others on there needing to be a better way to get cards. intercept damage seems to be too high, standard attacks seem to be 15-18 points but intercept is 35?

This game is amazing. Well done, Kongregate for making such an excellent game. So much fun to be had... Why am I wasting time leaving a comment?! :P

It would be nice to look up your personal stats (wins/losses/draws) while in a match and while the game page rather than just on the main menu page.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hoolio: I didn't understand your statement about statistics. Were you saying some people were getting many cards and others few?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like the scaling idea for card wins, but was thinking that a "trash card" option would be nice. If we could throw undesirable cards out to keep our win chance higher, that'd be pretty boss.

They said they were releasing four new decks later this fall (like Villagers, Vampires, etc.) ... *coughs* never! *coughs* ... and I hear the card winning percentage was increased to 10% but some weird stuff has been going on (If you think 10% isn't enough, don't even play).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ hoolio
you could have a small amount of cards and be undefeated... its not an error.. if you come up with a good enough strategy, you can pwn anything... sall it takes is strategy and a tiny bit of luck.

@Whyzkatt- I already have a good combo, all i want is to increase my deck size, and possibly create new decks.
@Dr_Meatus- Only a few characters are highly resistant to Dark Magic, so Rush of Bats is really deadly. You can win entire games by using rush of bats and intercept.
I can understand why they don't want to give people a second chance to earn the cards, but some other ideas ought to be put in place or considered A DEGREE MORE.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i like the idea of earning the cards by beating challenges, and the game seems to work well, for what it is (as flagged above, rock, paper, scissors) but that's just not my thing
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
hoolio, your argument is flawed. It just goes to show the importance good deck selection. It dosen't matter how many cards you have, it matters how good your 3/5 set works together agains't all kinds of threats.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
F-ing stupid; a hundred people have said it so it must be some sort of statistical error in the making of the game... There is clearly a curve in that many people are either having lots of wins but few cards or few wins and large amounts of cards. The improbability of this being random is infinitely large. Author must have screwed up somewhere while creating the game. Although a tadbit dissapointed i give it a 3.9/5
