a-ha. there. your naive definition of luck = guesswork. well guess what? it ain't luck, discoagogo.
Luck is where you "guess" not "guesswork". Just like the 80% confidence level that the higher rank people had, you work all of those calculations, and all the moves from all the three characters, seeing which probability is the biggest, and then it will only protrude to a choosing between defensive (mostly spending a small energy-based attack) or offensive (intercept) which is based on 50% GUESS and 50% WORK. Get it?
Geez, couldn't believe I have to define 'luck' for you man.

lol kquad, i don't have the Origami crane, that unlucky for me! Did you choose that card? No! You just happened to get that particular one, by luck, noy skill!

oh hey, want me to b intellectual for a moment? then define the sole meaning of 'luck', discoagogo. such a dualistic aphorism as defining luck itself is a lost cause at its own. just play a lot and ure going to see how the higher ranks can actually have an 80% confidence level in choosing what to do.

Instead of telling you that you don't improve because you suck, I'm going to tell you that you don't improve because you don't have a full understanding of strategy, moves, and countermoves in this game. Every character has a weakness and exploiting that weakness is part of that skill you keep denying. There is an element of luck - most attacks will only hit 9/10 times. But even then, you can use the Origami Crane to ensure you do not miss.

lol kquad, If you believe Poker has more luck than Kongai then you don't understand the rules of poker. You can't compare Poker and Kongai, because they're too far apart on the luck spectrum. If Kongai is skill then why do i never improve? Bacause it's based on luck, not skill:)

@discoagogo - Your statement is about having "less luck" than somebody else is very ignorant. Poker is a game of skill, yet the luck factor is much higher than in Kongai, yet you say Kongai is all luck?

It's amazing how, in such a luck-based game as this one, you lot can kid yourselves that your beating each other through ingenious skill. I have less luck than you lot which is why i get less wins, see the pattern?

thats happened to me, they do it on purpose, using max time at every step until you just quit. This should be punished with a ban.

I had a match where i was waiting for the opponent forever. I eventually closed the screen after 15 minutes. I could switch from my deck to the game log and etc. It counted as a loss! What should I do?

All attacks - even though without hit rates listed - can miss, as long as there is something such as Shadow Curse in effect.

Actually, this game is fairly balanced the way it is. A newcomer can almost go toe to toe with a veteran right from the start...
Gaffar, you should check your attack speed... You must be using some very slow cards...

if somebody is playing with me and is rude i simply try to be speechles and play to the end of the match, ignoring him or her, . I truly hate people who think they are better on the net, and call others noobs. its jerkiness.

Very good idea to make this game, where you actually can meet other players in a card duel, and not only in the chat. Really liked the idea about winning new cards in games, very good idea, since kongregate ofcourse want more peoples to play thier games:)

just wait until your opponent lose and the other who was slow connection just repair it into your network the kongai is cool not suck its great game if you dont want to play kongai just choose another game
