NicolBolas,
to have 6 phylactery working in a row is not that unlikely to happen when you take into account that there are a lot of games played. A run of length 6 is event supposed to happen every once and then.
If you understand mathematics a bit you can read more here: http://www25.brinkster.com/ranmath/problems/run.pdf

At bewnt: Yes you have a point with someone conning a noob for a good card or item, but that happens with every card game out there, it's inevitable. I personally would love card trading since I play a few card games myself, mostly Magic the Gathering tho ^^;.

It would be nice to have the ability to:
A)Observe a game in progress
or
B)Watch a replay of one of the last 10 games.
I always liked being able to go into Spectator Mode and watch people who really know what they are doing fight it out.

Scamp: Agreed. Even if Tafari goes against a dangerous opponent, he always has the option to switch out. His attacks are good as they are.
heavencharge: I'm not sure of the implications card trading can bring. For instance, someone conning a newb into giving in a good card for a poor card, or even trading a character for an item.

brocoli, killpoo is right. Probability is just that....what is probable, not what is definite. just because a coin has two sides, does not mean you will always get 1 heads and 1 tails on each flip. It is all random, there is no way to fix it- it works...its random with a proability of X. Get over it, some days you may never get the paralyze to work, others you may 3 paralyze ko characters.

make it samller I cant see all of the game without scrolling, like when im looking at an item i have to position it just right so i can read the whole discrption

when using hypnotic stare against life draining moves, the animation on the life bars adds life to the wrong character initially, and then gives the life to the other player after the turn is over.

we should gather some data.
how about higashi players count how many times they use open palm, how many times it misses and how many times it procs (when the hit rate is not affected of course)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is it strange or broken AI - I have never, in all the Practice games I've played, seen the AI take the option of changing distance for the attack round.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
killpoo, to be fair, if it really was happening half the time then it would probably be more likely that the RNG is broken than that people are just getting that unlucky. I just don't think there are as many anomalies as people are claiming.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I merely gave the chance that someone would miss 5x in a row.
NicolBolas: The law of independent trials says that it could happen 0 times or 66,000 times, you don't have an argument.
Brocoli: If it is truly random, it could happen every time you play.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I doubt that the percentage listings are wrong. Instead of counting the number of times someone misses 5 in a row and using total plays of Kongai, you should divide the total misses over the total number of shots to get the missrate: it be more fair this way.
However, the RNG may be distributing luck unevenly, hence the unusual number of "5 in a row misses" complaints. Perhaps the RNG is time-based or something, which is worth looking into.

broccoli: If on the other hand missing is something you can reliably predict then you may have a bug, please document the conditions under which you can predict a miss and then send a bug report.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I doubt that many people have missed 5x in a row. People have a tendency to exaggerate their bad beats; I've seen just as many complaints in games known to be fair. Also, it's not enough to point to the number of games played because you attack more than 5 times in most games.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
killpoo: even if it should happen some times, it shouldn't happen with the same person lots of times as it does
Also, it's possible to notice when an RNG is broken because the strategy "worked, so it will work from now on in this game" works
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For everyone complaining about the RNG being broken, a 95% hit rate has a 1/33,333 chance of missing five times in a row.
Given the number of times people play this etc. it will happen somewhat regularly and seem as if the RNG is broken.
Please don't complain about the RNG until you do the math out.

kindred to evil....that makes no difference they have more experience...probably better cards but I beat a level 11 twice when I was a level 2..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Level is a linear function of games played, not actual ability. As such, I don't see what it has to do with actual match-ups.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think it would be better when playing against other players if you were matched up, level by level. Either that or one level above or below where you are. It doesn't seem quite fair to put a level 11 player against a level 1 JMO

@bigm
You do know that all of probability is independent...meaning its mere luck if u get stuff in a row. Theres nothing wrong with the system, unless he intentionally rigged it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
if an attack is a multiple hit attack (sword flurry for example) shouldn't each of the 7 attacks have a 95% chance of hitting, not all 7 having a single 95% chance?
