This game is epic, though there needs to be more cards to use as it's getting boring facing the same old cards with the same old cards over and over.

Comments are as brilliant as usual! Today we address the luck issue. I want the class to go to the achievements page and look at the all time top rank points (ignore the hacked #1 spot). Look at all of the top 25, but especially the top 2. Now consider the fact that almost anyone these top 2 players play against, they stand to lose 150 rank points if they lose and win only 50 points if they win. What does that tell you? The game literally cannot be more than around 25% luck overall, or they wouldn't be where they are, because they literally have to win 3 games for every 1 they lose just to stay even.

screw u kongregate for never updating a game u promise to update for now... 6 months... and if u remove this comment, it just shows how tyrannical you are and proves I am right that you guys are just incapable and/or lazy.

my combo is helena,vanessa,rumiko....
with a decent strategy to switch and so on
can score a handful of wins..
but really it also depends on the enemies....

If discussing a "sweet" deck, one should also be discussing the deck(s) the "sweet" deck is sweet against! I mostly agree on the "sweetness" factor of the decks/cards described by apples and Swoon43, but that is because the work well with my playing style. Ubuntu in ANY deck will be sweet against MANY other cards, Corny, Monte, Helene and Tafari in particular IF the Ubuntu owner plays decently. This game is pretty well balanced, although newbie mistakes can make it seem very unbalanced, including newbie mistakes in choosing starter cards. Newbies complain about being matched with skilled opponents in unranked matches, but those are an opportunity to observe and learn like no other - once they've gotten to the point where they no longer need the tool tips.

I have a suggestion, how about making the characters move when they're in battle. It would be kick ass if they are more animated. Oh and, add more players.

If the game is luck based why do some players have above average win rates and some players dont. Sounds like you are confusing bad decision making with luck.

What a piece of trash. Games that rely on luck to win deserve a 1. It's like playing slots, its designed for you to lose. Garbage.

Unluckiest game ever, 2 misses, tomes'ed, a stun, a dodged ambush (by yoshiro,), and no popo dodge in my first 7 moves!

Nono, best deck is Popo (elusive feather), Yoshiro (General's Insignia) and Phoebe (valkyrie's Charm); Start with yoshiro using dragon attak. Then based on plays use Popo's poison effects and emmediately switch him out
