Missing 8 times in a row is horrendously unlikely but possible. It's likely that the opponent had some kind of evasion or curse that he wasn't aware of.
Missing 8 times total (out of many, many attacks) is totally plausible.

If i rolled a 72 on a 100 sided die a hundred times, i would check to see if the die was fckd up. If it wasnt, then cool.

jsk03005: he didn't say he missed 8 in a row, he said he missed 8 times. and while missing 8 in a row is extremely unlikely i'm sure its happened to someone. this still does not mean the hit percentages are messed up. If they were messed up, how? What sort of glitch accounts for one person missing a lot while their opponent (and everyone else playing) is unaffected. I'm in the middle of a pretty bad losing streak (involving, among other things, some critical misses) but I'm not going to start saying the game is broken because I missed some important hits. Remember the first rule of sportsmanlike gaming: Thou Shalt Not Blame the Controller

... which means that the odds of missing 8 in a row are about... (0.05^8)... roughly a 1 in 25,600,000,000... while this is possible... it's more likely that there's something messed up with the hit percentages...

Rainlow: I think people were a little confused about how you racked up more than 500 wins in less than 2 days and came to the not unreasonable conclusion that you were cheating somehow. I'm not saying that you were but those sorts of stat jumps border on the unbelievable. I've certainly grinded out a lot of wins in my day but never anything close to that.

That is exactly the sorrt of thing that's possible with a random number. You can roll a 100 sided die and come up with a 72 a hundred times in a row. The chance for a number to come up on any given roll is exactly the same chance it was the last roll. What ever it was last time has no bearing on what it will be next time. People just don't have good instincts when i comes to random numbers and probabilities.

Lol I've missed 8 times and it cost me the game - something is messed up with the hit dynamics. They were all 95% chance to hit attacks too.

omg Kongregate dude i just saw your tutorial on my wii for super smash brawl, you are like famous. i just clicked on nintendo channel and there it was top of the list your tutorial part 1,2 and 3. i never knew you were this good at gaming :)

this game is good, but still needs work (bugs, inconveinience) hoawever i think the people who CAN change this game (emily greer, etc) are no longer looking at this games posts so ..yeha

some suggestions to make the game better: 1. option for shorter time per turn eg: 30 sec 2. option for random cards only 3. higher level cards that can be unlocked with higher kongregate level. with this there'll be more reason to win badges
