Karkadinn, you make some good points, but you don't mention the 'intercept' option. Whether you choose it at the right time or not is pure luck. Yet some deluded people here like Twinge continue to state this game is skilful.

I was mearly wondering if you where stating them as two different things. If you are using them to mean the same thing, then why state them seperatly?

The luck in this game does breed a lot of negativity that is hard to work past. Although luck evens out over the long run, individual fight are short and one lucky roll can make or break a session. Five to ten percent miss rates on fifty energy moves isn't an especially 'fun' game model from an emotional pov, even though from a statistical pov there's nothing wrong with it. In addition, it's worth noting that most of the top tier cards specifically minimize luck with 100% hit attacks and hits fleeing abilities. Acknowledging the mathematical balance doesn't necessarily mean you can't acknowledge the negative side effects on player psychology, too.

lol, newcreation says 'improve your guesswork!' On that logic, it's possible to improve my ability to guess what number a die will roll on, or guess what cards i'll get in poker! Yes, that makes sense!

Disco : If it takes nothing but luck and guesswork, then try improving your guesswork to a passble level? And all luck does is make you win and then lose the odd game that you shouldn't have. It makes the game tick and averages out.

I'll tell you what twinge; if you turned all the Kongai cards into dice, and each player rolled one at a time (with the lowest scoring player losing a die) that game woulkd have the same amount of luck as Kongai:-P

I see this game is still based almost entirely on luck and guesswork. I prefer games that require skill, so i won't be playing this until they take out the luck element. 1/5.

kwo: I think he's referring to the fact he has, for example, 2 vamp items but no vamp chars. However, I'd also easily add Gem to your list, and probably F-Powder, Yellow Rock, Tiger's Claw, and Caltrops as well. Actually while I'm at it, Salve and Breastplate should likely be there too! |||| slayer: Unfortunately the best way to do things for you here is to make a new account and not pick starters at first. Play random, win 10 cards, then pick starters to match what you won.

Slayer it's just you. The only cards that are unusable ... well arguably are helene and quickening pwoder. The rest all can be played in the right combinations

ive played both elements and kongai and i would say that kongai requires more anticipation of your opponent and less deck building than elements.

Actually Twinge, Elements is pretty in-depth. It's just mostly in deck-building and less in the actual games. But yeah, saying this game is shallow is pretty... ignorant...
