Under rating threshold (show) wring: lol whut? Cain gets a lot worse when you play against people that have a clue what they're doing; it's usually pretty dang easy to avoid putting him into powerzone, at which point he is left only dealing modest damage at mediocre speeds and high miss rates :P Also, in addition to be awful against CC he's even worse against MLM.

Under rating threshold (show) the thing i love most about cain is getting someone to ray of light him into his powerzone while hes tantrum-ed. POW. aside from that, hes pretty ordinary, but he can be effective if youre careful and a little lucky - hes TERRIBLE vs cc though.

Under rating threshold (show) Cain's real problem isn't that he's particularly bad, it who he's bad against. He has a pretty good game vs. a lot of characters but two characters he really takes a beating from are Anex and CC, both of whom he'll have to face a lot. He's potentially the most damaging character in the game but, he lives on the corner of inaccurate st. and poor matchup ave. Not a good place to make your home.

Under rating threshold (show) ddent, voidstream will only do 18 damage vs. cc without buffs 12x3 damage with cain's innate but minus cc's resist it's only 6x3=18 - and RoB would only do 35 w/o buffs - At far all cc has to do is blood burn once or twice and cain can't hurt him; at close it's only a 50% shot at interupting and pilebunker does not put cain into innate range w/o soul crush or tome proc

Under rating threshold (show) Twinge: I'm with you on a lot of those. Personally I'd hate to see Amaya's SC hit fleeing. Being SC'd is irritating and if you're unlucky, game changing. Its good that there is a way to avoid it other than being lucky. As for MLM, I recognize that he can be devastating when played well but, it seems like he's always 1 mistake away from dead. If you get intercepted, rest when you should switch, or miss an attack, he's dead. It would be great if there was a way to move him out of 1 hit KO range from VV but, other than nerfing VV too much, I don't know how to do that. You're right about Cain, switching the voidstreams is a start, an accuracy buff would go a long way as well. I liked the idea of a high crit chance on Helene's frenzy strikes as it fits the flavor of the move, an additional turn to EB also good. SB is alright as is, more of a threat than enything else. The only comparable move is Knee Bash, which is a lot worse for only 5 less energy.

Under rating threshold (show) I have the card, void stream is great, uses up only 20 energy, which regenerates the next round making it usable every turn without exhausting all energy. It deals decent damage and even lowers the enemy's dark resistance. The attacks are slow, but hypnotic stare is quite fast.

Under rating threshold (show) cc void stream is the only range weapon. cain void stream and rush of batch both can deal huge damage to opponent. cain void stream can do 40+ damage to cc when can health is low. cc is not good compare to cain. cain has close attack and intercept opponent attack. cc is slow. cain is fast.

Under rating threshold (show) i disagree, i really like cain. imo hes better than mlm and ambro and SOMETIMES i like playing him rather than vv or cc. hes well balanced and has a great energy game. imo his and cc's voidstream should switch. cain is far from awful IMO but that just goes to show how well balanced this game is.

Under rating threshold (show) ivanaj36: I'll let you in on a little secret: Cain is actually pretty awful. Rush of Bats is by no means overpowered; it's slow and has a high miss rate, and it's easy enough to keep Cain out of his Powerzone to prevent it from being uber.

Under rating threshold (show) Ashi is a good char as it stands and is in the same boat as Rumi; if we drop CC's HS speed by 1 she gets a decent indirect buff. Only plan I had was to drop AH en cost 40 -> 35. | Helene is obviously a mess; I like an all-over approach. Drop SB's en cost to 40, raise SS hit & proc, make EB last 3 turns, raise FS to speed 8. Possibly even also increase FS hit rate or drop en cost to 35, but that might be too much. | Switching VSs is good, though Cain still needs something beyond that; I am still not satisfied with my planned changes for him yet, though. As mentioned previously, dropping CC's HS speed by 1 also seems good. | MLM is underrated; he's just hard to use. More life is out of the question. Dropping Tomes to +9/+9 is a starts, making it harder for VV to OHKO. Beyond that all I'd do is increase Tele and BB procs (97 & 100), and give Tele +1 damage (actually significant). | VV - not a bad idea there; she doesn't need any big nerf, and I haven't liked my other ideas much.

Under rating threshold (show) Rambo: For Amaya I'd fix his innate bug and make SC hit fleeing. | Rumi is fine; she's solid all-around without being overpowered or underpowered really - though making PD useful would be nice. | Oni's AS could definitely use a buff, lasting 1 more turn and being 95% would be good. Also Crane should affect both these moves, but otherwise I'd leave AC at 90%. | For Andromeda, making RoA 95/95 was in my earlier drafts, but it's probably too good like that - it's a hits fleeing move that can deal 40 damage after all. Instead I'm more looking at making Crip. Shot better alongside a +1 speed boost for TS and RoA. (And she gets indirectly better if Anex gets worse and tanks get better.) | Anex's CS should stay at 2 turns - 2 turns lets it combo into other characters. The main thing she needs is a Valk Charm nerf; dropping that to +1 speed is pretty significant while still being a useful item. Fixing BC proc is good, and then we can also drop PT damage by 1 so it doesn't 1-hit Amaya.

Under rating threshold (show) Alblaka: Nobody in this game is broken - but that doesn't mean characters aren't good or bad. Helene is borderline useless for example, and JujuFeather is right up there with ValkAnex in terms of being very versatile and a bit overpowered. JujuFeather basically has no bad matchups; Amaya is probably the best bet against him, but he can still CoJJ 3-4 times for the kill. He has an advantage against the others you listed like Popo (Feather wrecks SS's hit chance, his innate screws with PD) and Rumi (fairly close, but in Juju's favor, especially with the auxiliary stuff like Hex being cheaper than SB). And Helene... how does she actually deal damage to him? It's not like SB is a good move, and he has a moderate chance to feather-dodge it anyway :P Overall Juju is tough, has a way to heal, generally has a move available for all situations, and has very few weaknesses.

Under rating threshold (show) Ideas for small card changes for additional game balance: Amaya and Rumiko: make ninja port 100% to hit, 95% to proc (same as MLMs teleport). Oni: make both of his ancestral moves 95% to proc, maybe even 100. Andromeda: make Rain of Arrows 95% to hit, 95% to proc, increase speed of trueshot to 3. Anex: make her moves do what they say they do (boomerang 90% proc, chakkra slash only a 1 turn slow). Ashi: reduce damage on axe handle but give it back its chance to interrupt (exact amount of each tbd). Helene: increase sword slash’s hit chance to 95%. Possibly give frenzy strikes increased crit? Cain and CC: switch their voidstreams so cain's reduces dark by 2 and CC's reduces by 1. MLM: I dunno, they buffed the hell out of him and I still think he's terrible. Maybe 5 more health? VV: make it so her intercepts are not affected by her innate ability.

Under rating threshold (show) @rambo: Depends on your way of playing, i think. I love to blast enemies with attacks dmg>40, therefore waiting 4 rounds to kill one enemy is pretty wasted (not to mention, THAT you have to hit, first). However, we should stick to: JUJU IS NOT IMBA (like all cards)

Under rating threshold (show) mrpops, alblaka: The problem with touch of doom is not that it takes 4 turns, its that its the most expensive move in the game and is easily disruptable. But, once you've hit an opponent with it you get to enjoy my favorite aspect of juju, which is surviving 4 turns against an opponent who knows he's going to die. Healing Touch, switching, range-dancing, and, if you're wearing a feather, hopefully dodging can all be utilized to make those 4 turns relatively damage free. Personally, I like to play juju and rumiko in concert as her easy switches and eviscerate can make those 4 turns fly by. Just because you won't TOD very often doesn't mean it isn't a useful ability.

Under rating threshold (show) Juju is only average: He has a strong (only 30 energy, but 40 dmg) far-dark attack (of course useless against guys with avergae darkresis), can heal himself, deal indirect damage. His Touch of Doom is kinda nonsense, due to it's WAY easier to kill an opponent within 4 turns, then hitting him with THAT move. But on the other side you can easyly use the scare effect: Either give Juju the Mindreaders Chalice or try to guess to whom the enemy will switch out and switch yourself to a perfect card. Against Juju: Take either a close-brawler with Interrupt/Teleport moves (Rumiko, Amaya, Helene, Popo) or a Amazone with sacred candle (and luck XD) or another Juju (about 70% that his innate will itself disable the touch). See: Juju is a average card as any else
