The game is great, but if there is some more function that would be interesting: viewing others game while they are playing. Just like the observers in war3.

I like the valkyrie charm and all but when used on Helene she becomes a goddess. 10 speed to all the attacks? you basically can't do anything even with fast characters. I think increasing speed +1 would be comparable to the other items.

I do feel that there needs to be an increase in the obtaining cards department also. I also think that the stacking of the ring of curses ability is overpowered. I think it should do its effect, but not stack repeatedly just restart the timer on the effect.

To wrap up what i think people are trying to say
1) We should be able to trade cards that we won (i like idea)
2) We might lose a card if we forfeit(also a good idea)
3) Better chance to get a card (would really help)
4) Stop people from making more than one account (BEST IDEA)

Can I just point out, this trading and points system is all good, but there is a game already a game, almost identical to what you are suggesting- urban rivals.

Kadin: I thought your initial idea was fine. It was somebody else who pointed out that people would make forfeit accounts in that case.
Now we are talking here about forfeiting right when the game starts, which would only be used to give the opponent a free win. There's nothing wrong with forfeiting when you are in a desperate situation when the game has gone on for some time. I wouldn't forfeit after losing one character. It's far from a done deal and I get greater satisfaction for dealing with that kind of difficult situation once I succeed.

if you forfeight you lose a card: i dont like that idea, what if you accidently chose the wrong deck, and why would you want that rule you can get a win and maybe a card

i agree with you kadin that its good to loose a card if you forfeit but can the system tell if you forfeit or you lost connection with the server.

I think they should add a trading system, and a point system. Points should be awarded depending on the type of duel, for example a three-card duel would be maybe 5 points. and a 5-card duel 10 points, and a ranked one 15.

1) it would be better to increase chance of getting a card.. i won 16 games, and still it's hard for me to get any card. But another way. it would be better to make shaman no so IMBA with his closecombat killing trick.

To clarify: The posts in question here are earning 'forfeit counters' that are worked off by completing matches (win or lose) without forfeiting--players with existing forfeit counters cannot earn cards--but Richie's point was that players can make accounts that exist only to forfeit matches, in order to give their friends (or their own, primary accounts) free cards.

RichieRich80's comment about the forfeit counters suggestion raises a good point. Addressing it directly as raised would bring up a whole new issue of policing "forfeit accounts," which would be a huge headache in and of itself. I could see introducing a 1% chance to LOSE a card if you forfeit, but that widens an existing window for griefing. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

I agree with STRONGCOCK's idea about card trading. If you only could trade "K" cards which you've earned by winning, it wouldn't encourage people to create multiple accounts.

there seems to be a bit of a problem with the get close/get far mechanic - i'm sure lots of people will disagree but all too frequently with a ranged and a close range character I find myself in never ending getclose/getfar exchanges especially when each player has only a card left each

frix the tooltips Hypnotic stare says it redirects attacks not buffs!!! And why buffs should be slower than attack anyway???

We need a way to trade cards because people are getting doubles and it's never fun. I know if we can trade every cards right away it could be problematic as people would create new accounts to get every starter card.. so what about some restriction with trading? You can't trade starter cards... and if needed, you can't trade challenge cards. that means that you can only trade the cards you win while winning games.. that way, only two players with, "in theory" 50 wins can trade.. we can assume there wouldn't be fake accounts with wins just so they can trade their cards for free to another account because it would be better to simply play with your main account and win the card with it. What do you guys think?

awiiya - right now the difference is that resistances greatly reduce damage from a multi-attack compared to a single attack. For instance, someone with 12 physical resistance takes 0 dmg from Rumiko's Shuriken Barrage even though it does a total of 48 dmg.

All I can really say is that cards should be handed out more frequently than they are. 2 % is a little ridiculous, how about either 50 or 30 %? would be even better. Anyways, the game play is good. There are some heavy imbalances between the cards, and some of the attacks just make me wonder when I'll ever use it. Some of the "multi" attacks are also weird. Why is it multiple (14x3) if it is counted as one attack? The first one hits, they all hit. The one misses, they all. This just doesn't seem to make any sense.

I agree with pyro, each hit should be calculated to hit/miss separately instead of the whole attack being calculated once.

for attacks that are 8x3 or something like that, have 3 different attacks. because one miss cancels all three! that shouldnt work out
