The best, most super-awesome thing you can do if you have a bug to report is to click the little green bug icon up at the top of the chat box and explain what the defect is (and linking to screenshots is good). If you have a suggestion, sending to feedback@kongregate.com is good. I would highly recommend it over posting it in the comments section.

can't right click to copy or paste in match chat. not a big deal, since you can still use the keyboard commands...i guess the format of the window is just different from
the rest of the chat

this game has loads of potential. i look forward to tournaments and things of the sort. There should be a way to check your stats though including people you beat/lost to, times of matches, etc. overall its good though!

There needs to be a message in the match chat "Mario has left the chat". Right now there's no way to tell whether they left the chat. You could be talking to no one when you're trying to discuss some things after the battle. I'm never too sure if some people get my "GG"s or not.

Being able to see the enemy wins/loss when he enters your room would be nice. I wanna know if a battle is gonna be though or I'm fighting a 0 wins / 15 losses person.
Also very important is the fact when I make a deck of 3 guys and items and I call it "AAA" and I edit it and change 1 guy and then call it "BBB".
It makes a new deck called "BBB" and "AAA" is still there.
Please make it so that it writes over the old deck.
You could add a button to say "save as" so it creates a new deck besides the one your in, might be usefull if you in a 5 deck but most people will surely like the first option better.

Kongai, surprisingly enough, is even better than I thought it would be! I really enjoy how simplistic this game is, yet how much strategy and thought needs to be put in to win a game.

This isn't really a comment on the game itself but is there somewhere that the powers that be at Kongregate will be answering and responding to the Kongaii comments posted here?

Once I've added a character card to my deck, it would be nice if I could flip the card over to see the information on the back, which is helpful in deciding which items to use on my characters.

Is there a description of how the rankings work? If not, I think there should be. Are the rankings the stars you see next to someones name when they are playing a match?
Once I pick my 3 starter cards, is there a way to change them? I think there should be because new players probably won't have a very good feeling for which cards they would want until they've played at least a few games.
I agree that you should be able to pick a 3 or 5 card single player match too.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The single player feature could need some improvement!
For example a ladder to complete with lots of BOT-enemies to defeat! And then when you defeat the final boss you should win a card and get a better rating. Then next time you play single player you have to defeat a whole new ladder of enemies!
And in multiplayer there should be some tournaments! The winner should get let's say 3 cards and 500 points in rating or something like that!

First, thanks for the inviting.
I played some games and in multi, my deck's card die randomly, even with full health and it's pretty frustrating. :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Really well done - and definitely hard to master. For some reason the in-battle item description sometimes got stuck for me o_O
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Looks good so far. Easy enough to jump into a game without entirely understanding it, but still complex enough to take much further.

I love everything that you have done with this update. You guys have been working hard. I am very impressed with the Match chat... that is AWESOME!! overall good job with this build ... cant wait to see what is next
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I wish I would of known that you cannot repick the initial 3 cards because now that i know how it all works I want to repick my Starters
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i love it! here are my 2 suggestions though:
let players see their own record (because ive had to ask my opponents what it is)
and also make 2 lobbies, 1 for 3 card games and 1 for 5 card games... so that players dont accidentally sign up for the wrong kind as easily
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well, the game wasn't what i expected (i expected something like Street Fighter like greg said) it need a lot of patience and need to be very smart to play it! i tried to start it without seeing the help and i just get fukced xD
The game is pretty cool to me, since i like game with more action. But i don't like the style of the monster/humans/vampires just stayed there, stucked and they just move foward and backward (like pokemon) i tough this was going to have some movement (like a HADOUKEN!!)
beside of that, i think the graphics very very very nice!(sorry jindo, but they make best art than you, beside that, you're the second best of this site). Some sounds are good and some are bad and it need a BACKGROUND MUSIC!! (all rpg, card game, tower defense game need BACKGROUND MUSIC)
wow! 9.5/10 for it because it still as beta test
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I do have one question though; are the starter cards only for the testing period or are they something that we will keep? Because although the name of the card appears in my cards list on my profile, there are no pictures associated with them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Other than issues previously mentioned, the update seem a LOT better; more balanced, sound, faster, everything; nice work. And it is nice to see more people being able to play which was one of the primary problems I ran into before while attempting to test; finding a game.

Mario - as far as seeing your stats, I know it's a pain right now. I'm actually redoing a lot of stats/high scores related stuff right now, so at some point in the relatively near future you'll be able to see way more. Rankings should follow after that.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
hey, I would just like to give a hello comment :) also, a question. if I'm not connected to chat(red light) will stats update?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I guess I lied in me 2nd to last comment. Apparently the only way to currently see your stats is to ask someone else.

Single player AI did a few notably stupid things...
Like Jacen said, it seems to never change range, even when its character is at a big disadvantage at the current range.
Also, he tried to intercept when it was impossible for me to switch (his character was Tafari)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Jacen, there are only 46 unique cards released at the moment. I think it's great that the game isn't counting duplicates any more.

It might be too much work, but I'll throw this out there. It occurred to me when I tried to host a game to look at my W/L ratio and found I could no longer do that unless someone joins. Since there's no other way of viewing your stats and for the pleasure of having additional info I think it would be really cool to have a "log" in the game at the main menu. You click it and it shows you your W:L ratio, rank, and what would be really cool is a match history. It wouldn't necessarily have to be EVERY match you've ever played. Maybe even the last 10 or so matches would be fine. All they would really need to show is the opponents name, their rank perhaps, and whether you won or lost.
If not that then I suggest implementing at least some sort of alternative way to view your stats other than hosting a game. That's a bit annoying for both the hosting person and the one thinking it's a real game to join.

if Jade statue will give +10 hp, and Juju Touch o dooms Onimaru w/ statue, will it just do 99 damage, or kill him? Like the new critical and the bigger, actually readable icons. Says I have 46 cards, when I have 57. My 3 starter cards are not showing up in picture form on my profile. (Cards 126, 128 and 135 btw :) )
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
single player, bot CAN'T change range with anybody. It sat there and rested with Ashi. It seemed to do a decent job attacking, switching, and intercepting, though it did intercept when I had cooldown in effect. I had one character with an item, and when I switched to another character w/o an item, the icon stayed up in the corner but had no effect or scrollover text.

We're going to do a major release of Kongai this week including bug fixes, animation improvements, single-player, starter cards, match chat, and lobby code improvements. Once that is in we'll let in a bunch more people, and keep letting them in for a while.

Isit possible to place a timer of about 3 seconds where you can choose another move just incase you picked the wrong one?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hmm, if the cards lived abit longer by increasing health or lowering damage done I think it would be better, allowing for a more strategic element, where as now when a card can die in 2 hits it does not allow you to plan out more elaborate setup's
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well these are the glitches I found with the deck builder (some of the others have probably found them as well), the glitch seems to affect the general item cards only which can be equipped on any character card I think. This comes up in the gallery screen, here is the list and a screenshot.
Stoneheel Totem - Blood Vial (K symbol)
Mindreader’s Chalice - General’s Insignia
Healing Slave - Tarafi PAX card
Girdle of Iron Will - Healing Slave
General’s Insignia - Stoneheel Totem

Needs to have a option for a audio alert when someone joins your game. Also, stacking multiple cards on the deck building screen would cut down on clutter. A interrupted attack uses energy, but one that fails due to range change doesn't. Damage like poision does damage immediately after being inflicted, and can kill someone before their move goes off. Sirlin was surprised by this :) Tiger claw does a lot of damage, especially stacked with Zina's hit all move. Ashi is very strong. Switch cooldown needs its own icon (Or take out switch cooldown)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think it would be nice if you could stay in the game for a while after it finishes. That way you can look at the game log and your opponents cards. This would be especially nice for people new to the game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i like the game... i agree with other feedbacks... but i have to say, perhaps more card items improve a little more the game, and perhaps if you could change the a items whe you play... i like the MAGIC THE GATHERING style... 4/5 to the game!!! (my vote for now :P)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
yeah, I agree with nadroj, if we add another icon to the attacks it may seem too full of icons. I think the actual color system is ok. I also like chitown's "soulcalibur mode" :D
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Cmurda, hitaro is right.
Look at the card's attacks, even if its in play.
The box for the attack under (ex) Helene's attacks will erither be purple, gray-ish or blue-ish. that simulates the attack type.
However, it is a VERY bad system, as its not clear, it needs the same little icon thing.
