Had this problem today:
Hosted a game, someone joined and I choose my deck. After that came error that opponent have left the game. After that there just was a backround with that vampire or I dont know what guy glowing red and nothing else. I waited 1 minute and after that made a refresh.

One thing I'd also like to note (Thought not as important and doesn't really need immediate attention) would be the fact that I can't see the item-card description of my opponent. It's because my browser's window (firefox) is too small so it restricts me from putting my pointer on the card picture to read the description below. Minor annoyance but it can help plan your attack while playing a game.

I'm not so sure if this has been talked about already but here goes.
I think it'd be cool if there was a trading system implemented between players. Also, I don't know what kind of system could be made but, I didn't know what cards I was getting when I first started so I ended up getting cards that I really didn't like. I hope there's some way to reverse it.

well I won only 18 times then I got a card...so it's really random..I know someone whom won 300 or so times got 4 cards only..

May. 20, 2008I know this is just a beta test, but I find winning a card only 2% of the time really frustrating. I've won 47 games and have yet to win a card. Maybe you should be able to get a card after a certain number of wins. At least set definite checkpoints to win cards, don't leave it up to chance.

well actually I should take my point back about cards....sure right now we may regret our decisions...but cards get released weekly so really it won't effect us too much..(and we also get cards from the game...I started playing 2 days ago already won one card..)

i reallly think there should be more starter cards available for those just starting.winning a match when you have so few cards is a ridiculous thing to ask, even if its just you pick 5 starter cards instead of 3, thats all it would take to fix the problem, hence why before i start playing more serious i am waiting until the next card challenge so i have something else to use

Um all of the cards need to be tested, so if you want another starting card you could always just you know...win a few games. Thats what ive done, won 2 cards thus far.

well so far thier's a couple of issues:
-as many have stated this, like me...starter cards should either be an option to choose twice,be chosen after playing a tutorial/battle or after it's launch.....
-Another issue is the lack of game modes..Only including 3 card and 5 card multiplayer games is quite limited...a single player tournament of some kind would be nice and possibly more multiplayer options.
-The gameplay is overall nice...but could grow tedious..one thing that would make many happy is adding a normal attack for everyone with their own attack level(although it probably won't happen..)which costs 10 energy or like 0...and like polishing the gameplay and trying it out yourselves to make sure it's actually fun.
-Including your stats in your own options would be nice instead of asking your opponent to tell you wins/losses..
-Explaining why different cards could only be equipped with different items(although I think I figured it out..)

You are saying that resists heal and cause damage, all resists do is determine the amount of damage. If there were negative resists then a -2 dark resist, would add 2 dark attack damage if the attack was dark. Apposed to a resist of positive 2 dark, that would be decreasing damage by 2 if the attack was dark.

i think that we should be able to choose starters again AFTER its released to public...
that way ppl can try out new decks, see what's good, what's not, modify everything a bit, etc.

For all of you who say 'resistances should go negative':
Just think about it a bit! Let's assume you have -2 dark, -2 light and -2 physical resistance. When your opponent rests, he/she deals 0 dark, 0 light and 0 phisical damage. So you are dealt 6 damage by simply resting. :)
Please try and use your brains before writing such nonsense like negative resistances! This is not Diablo....

Maybe Shadow Wrath should be balanced (skill of Amaya) it cost 45 energy, it does 12 shadow damage [short/long range]
It has a speed of 2 >.> and it attacks all enemies????

actually thier's a card even more powerful then Helene close range...has even more powerful attacks(much more powerful..as I recall)and the opposing player can't switch cards while against it...it's a real challenge..

Its a very good thinking BUT the game is being controled of the players being active for the longest time ... and something like a litle bonus when you lvl up ( in kongregate ) would be sweet

When Helene intercepts at close combat, when her intercept fails she appears at range until the next turn (than appears back close)

maybe what also might be an idea if you miss a card challenge but it a good one you need a change to rematch to still get it most can use and it fair in cards

I got good idea, but may take a long time to complete. Why not have a trading system? It could really help players who need different cards and have, like Hawksfire, doubles of cards.

hmm starter cards whould be chosen again..I chose helen and I got her again this week although I can't use both...we should also be able to switch again since we have no idea what the stats mean before the start of the game...

If, when looking for a match, you leave a match the instant before it starts, the game will lock up on the transition screen.
