I guess they are still in launch phase but still....these things should be taken into account. So 5/5 for game but -2 for launch preparation. 3/5.

It was way faster on beta, because there weren't 15,000 people in one lobby. Are there even multiple lobbies at all? Kongregate needs more servers.

Helene is way too weak after the changes. With her totally sucking at long range, she should have mega-powerfull short range attacks, but no. :(

The staff definately underestimated the server load this game generates.
The game itself however is great!
You shouldn't expect a MtG clone though. Yeah you have to "collect cards" in a way, but it would work just as well if they didn't call the characters and items cards.
It's a mind game. You have to think, what your opponent will do and what your opponent thinks you'll do. It's especially important for intercepting fighter switches and distance changes.
That's actually the basic strategy here: Get into the best range for your fighter, make your most damaging moves if you can, switch if you think it's safe, or intercept, when you think your opponent switches. There are two main reasons to switch: Your fighter is low on health and you are not in your best range anymore.

The beauty of overhyping something and then watching the servers drop to their knees ;D
The overload has become lots worse over the day (probably when American citizens got up) and has now reached a state where the game is not playable at all (at least for me with an ace connection). I guess I'll be killing time differently until the dust has settled a bit...

Shouldn't people know that when you release something highly antecipated by the community, the no. of people downloading (in this case, playing) it increases MUCH and causes general overflow of the servers? Couldn't they predict this would happen and prevent it from happening...?

It has a very nice "Attempting to re-establish connection..." message. That's what I've been looking at most of the time.

Can't give the game over 1 start when it's slow, disconects and currently barely works. Hopefully it improves quickly.

I really, really hate the art for the female characters. The game's creators must be very lonely and sexually frustrated.

alllll that hype...ALL THOSE CHALLENGES, i cant say im anything but disappointed, with computers that over a minute to make decisions in practice mode, constantly being disconnected from the server, and the slow barely strategical combat, i dont know why it took you guys so long to finish this. wait i take that back, i hope this isnt "finished"
