Sure don't mean to piss anyone off, but my phylactery fires 3 times in a row, and i think rumiko 95% attack failed more than it should... maybe just my good/bad luck day, but could also be a biased RNG

Higashi's sweep gets you 5 energy with the scroll of inner focus item equipped, not sure if its a bug or a feature. Gosh this game is great!

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but when I use the Light Enchant Weapon thing on Anex et al, Leafy Trap still effects them.

I've had a problem when I only had a close combat character left, and the opponent only had a long range attack character left. And we both had low health, and didn't want to lose. So maybe a tie request button. if something like that happens.

Amaya's shadow curse seems to be the only "hit all" attack that can be canceled if the opponent switches out. Is this intentional?

Its very fun but i would like to have a change to get the cards i missed. Maybe like badges for the game are the cards so if you missed a challenge you could still get the card but make them very hard to get.

Congrats for the nice work to the developers and designers.
The GUI could hardy have been made better but I miss a conceal button.
I would also suggest to change some gameplay details. The first one is that when you get hit or absorb life (a life amount change during an attack) the lifebars get updated instantly, not waiting for the whole action to finish. The second is that some effects should not be stackable. I would make some debuffs/buffs to restart the lasting effect time rather than beeing applied again over the same active spell.
Keep up the good work.

If your move is faster than the enemies move and it causes parylization then not only does the enemies move not work, they are also paralyzed for the next turn. So the attack should state that or something.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
overall I like it, but there should be a story mode for it. and the time between turns and attacks is long enough to make it get a bit slow and boring.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I thought it hit because there was no message to the contrary, but you're right that I didn't actually check the log. If there's no message on a miss, there ought to be.

While I was impressed overall by the game-play, there were numerous buggy things, or logical errors. If you have a healing effect active and win the game, the effect takes place even though it no longer matters. While it may just be the RNG, I had instances of 95% accurate attacks missing three times in a row. Not dodged, just miss. Logic error?

Hi1715: that would be pretty cool, but it would almost be a completely new game. I'm sure it would take a long time to write that in.

I don't know if anybody is suggesting this: of they are, don't sue me. I think a possible idea is a three person or more game. I think this would be really fun. It gives more options. Although it would be hard to animate a third person in there... Maybe in the backround?

For some reason Ancestral Curse didn't lower Phoebe's physical defense when she was wearing the breastplate (It stayed at its enhanced level).

@KillSmiley
I've been thinking about that issue, myself. While we need to be understanding towards those with poor systems or rickety networks, it does seem like an area that's ripe for abuse. I think one way of dealing with it would be to give each player a time pool - say, 5, 10, 15 minutes or more depending on the format - that they could burn through in individual chunks while on the timer. Once that pool was used up then they'd forfeit, somehow.

I've been thinking about the issue of players dragging their feet to force the opponent to forfeit. I don't know it's technically feasible, but here's a thought: If it looks like a player is dragging out the game (say, that player has taken more than 45 seconds to act for several consecutive turns), then that player's timer is shortened. Hopefully, this would stop the people who drag their feet while still accommodating players who are a bit indecisive.

forfeiting the game causes 2 losses instead of one, so it's not a good idea to do so. this seems to be a bug and not intentional, however.
btw, Kongregate is already aware of this.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
um. I just had someone leave right as I was about to beat them.
This should really be taken into account when the game goes live, if you leave a game in progress you should forfeit the game.

i believe there should be a storyline in single player, i mean not like all that stuff like in the movie of super smash bros. brawl, but like your top character person is the main character and the enemy (leader of the other deck) talks to you to challenge you or something.

Another couple of things:
- I was playing with cornelius and my enemy (with 20) had death mask on. Even though death mask protects the enemy from being killed by dark magic attacks, I used voidstream (a dark magic attack) and killed him!
- The scoresboard is glitched. I won 4/5 times already and it says I've only won twice. It only records TODAY's wins from what I can see (even when I hit the friends tab).
There was something else but I can't remember what it was...

There's one thing I don't get... sometimes, when the enemy is the first to attack and kills us, we get to attack him too even after being dead. Other times, we get killed and don't even get a chance to attack. So... how's it supposed to be?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Another possible change is scenery:
Make a ton more different places to battle, possibly give certain cards bonuses in certain fields, but the best thing would be attacks that changed the field or perhaps the field getting damaged during the battle.

Marquis Le Morte hes abit of a well to use an old ccq term, a coaster, hes got the best dark magic defense yes, but his attacks are slow weak and expensive, with no long range, he gets hosed by the close in fighters.

2 ways to make this card game decent:
1.Battle animations, it will help seperate this game from none computer card games.
2.Multiply card production rate several fold: I played 3 games and im sure I've seen more than half the cards.
For now these cards seem to me allot funner to collect than to use.

actually seems to be a problem on my side: whoever i play against, they make their move, but say that it still takes until the timer runs out before the actions take place. i dunno what's going on, any other info i can give you about this?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I've just played a game and it appears that even though the range selection was made by each player, we still had to wait until the minute timer, had timed out.... very frustrating.
perhaps if after say 3 rounds it would boot the other player due to inactivity or something.

also, the hit point increase for drains is retarded. first they cast it, but don't gain, while you lose, hit them fatally, then, surprise! they still have hit points.
INSTANT GAIN IS A GOOD THING.
also, the jade figurine does not work. it still damaged my character, and the enemy didn't lose anything.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
having proper animation would be good and each characters intercept would be cooler if they were more unique. also i think there needs to be more variety of equip items.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the one thing this needs an option button to turn on or off some animation fights. yea you need to make some animations for attacks and the computer bots need to be near instant

Found a bug with Zina. I was doing "eye of the tiger" attack a lot, and somehow it hit my opponent on the screen, then he became invincible AND invisible when he was supposed to die and i couldnt hit him anymore with anything
I am sorry i didnt took a screen shot but the easier would be to be able to copy / paste the in game log, we cant and that is a bad point
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
looks like at least one user has a bot playing: waiting until time is almost out before playing a move. the opponent gets so tired of waiting a full moment between each phase/turn, they leave. don't know how to prevent this, except lowering the time limit.
