you really need to work on the connection. I was playing and it took forever to respond and then it said I lost because I disconected and I was ranked down.

Playing against the computer; Onimaru tried to ancestral curse my Cornelius 2 times in a row while he is immune, also, he switched the range to far (why would a close range character do that?) For making it short I would say the the IA needs an improvement.

Big, BIG issue here:
The game has huge over-reliance on luck. Let me explain; when an enemy can drop you in one turn because of a lucky critical PLUS a luck poisoning, well, all context of tactics flies right out the window. So far, virtually all my losses (and victories, mind you) are purely based on getting extremely lucky on one of the enemies characters. If I can drop one in a single turn, then I've pretty much won the match.
TL;DR: Too Much Reliance on Luck, Not Enough on Tactics.

card-earning rate is apparently being changed in the future - chance to get a card will be higher for those with less cards in their collection, dropping progressively as one gets more cards, until reaching the current 3% which will be the lower cap.

a collectible card game where you cannot collect the cards due to an insane 3% drop, no trade and no pick when you win a new card....
STUPID!

Very good game. Few reccomendations:
1. Able to challenge your friends or people through room chat.
2.Private matches (password or soemthing)
3.More cards ;P
4.Able to swap the resistances (light, dark, physical..) to create more versitility and specific decks.
5.Specialist matches (x-type charectors only to give added strength to charectors)
6.Level specific rooms to allow new players to find decent challenges more easily
That's about all i can think of now but great game and will maybe add some more ideas later xD

"how can u tell who is first to strike?

It depends on the attack speed, some are faster than others.

Very nice game, but i can't wait to have new cards in order to improve my decks ;-)
BTW, Marlblanke +1 : especially for the ones that haven't played the beta, it's a shame you can't change the starter cards you pick.

did anybody else lost his progress?
I played yesterday, picked started cards, did a few fights.
now I I had to start all over again. :(

There should be a way to cancel when you're joining a match. Like if you just realize you forgot to clean the dishes but your getting matched, the only way to quit is to get a loss.

Now people can see, why games like Magic: The Gathering don't use dice. In this game, any one instance of bad luck can doom you.

Great game! It's very well put together.
Only thing I do have to say is that the Zina Beast Mistress Card is over powered in my opinion. So if you haven't grabed your starter pack yet, then i highly suggest you get this card!

So far unimpressive. I've been beaten twice by the little boy with the blowgun. This is not a game for warriors, it is weighted to be a game for little children and girls with arrows. Some of the innates are preposterously powerful others useless.

Unfortunately, it takes cards to earn cards... I suppose I'll have to content myself with looking at the pretty pictures for the next several months until I can build a decent card supply.

@jobose: your logic is severely flawed. Getting 4 out of 5 equates to 80% as an observed outcome rate, not probability. The actually observable probability of getting 4 successful intercepts at 20% is 0.2^4 which is 0.0016 or 0.16% a very small chance, but a chance nonetheless.

wippedquazen; When has reading become more important than actual experience? I read the guide, I picked my cards, but when I started playing with actual people I realized that my cards (while seeming pretty neat) didn't work out that well together.
And I'm sure I'm not the only one, although I'd feel awfully special if I was.

well marl ur wrong because there is an ingame guide be4 u pick ur cards and an exgame guide as well.. i picked my cards knowing which i want
