The powerups that you apply to the character cards should be allowed to be used and changed while ingame, it would add more things to do while ingame.. abit like yo gi oh or something.

Great job Kong!!! this is really cool, thanks for letting me play before the release, I don't have any bad things to say about this so far. Awesome job!

1024x768 resolution makes the game difficult to play. The screen is just a few pixels too tall to be able to reach all functionality easily.

i joined kongregate way after the cards started coming out and im missing many many cards compared to the other people, they have a much wider selection of people to choose from. there should be an easier way to get cards by like going back to old card giving games or buying them with kongregate points

I think this game is looking good but the rating system could be tweeked. you should be able to increase your rank points even if you lose

waaaa, the game is closer to release so they let more people, lvl 11's, in to test, waaaaaa. lol zelda, some people like games that dont have achievements

2% chance of winning a new card when you are victorious is fine. You have no chance of LOOSING cards so that 2% I feel is perfectly acceptable :)

its hard to tell how much life/update that each player has after an attack... its hard to determine what to use in the next attack

Zelda_Lover, let's try to keep the comments constructive to the development to the game. Just a friendly suggestion :)

The battle system is a little sluggish when the opponent is "thinking", and it would add to the variety a little if we could equip more than one item to the battlers.
And maybe reduce the costs of moving, since that eats up more than half of your energy in a turn before you even get to attack.

A lot of fun! Definitely looking forward to finding new cards over time. I'm having trouble criticizing at all really, but I think I agree with Blotto -- I'd prefer if repeated poison/bleed does not stack in damage but rather time.

I'm still picking my starter cards, but when I hover over Cornelius Constantine it says Group: Dark Magic Attacks and Defence, Physical Attacks, Lowering. Just a typo probably, but it should say Group: Vampire and then Strength: etc. Also, I notice that only some have Vulnerabilities. Is that fair?

You should should be able to change what you selected while waiting for your opponent in case you chose the wrong thing or if you change your mind.

Okay, now I've actually played a round, there was nothing wrong I noticed with the game itself...but in the game joining lobby, it takes freaking superhuman reflexes to join! I tried 3 different times and it said there was already someone joined. I wound up hosting myself, but once I played it was really fun! There is a learning curve, to be sure, but once you are actually in the game the basics are in fact fairly easy to pick up on thanks to the pop up tips.

Touch of doom is way to overpowered 4 turn until death are nothing and with a switch combo u can cast it multiple times
6 or even 8 turn would be okai

Anyone notice in the menu, how the music kinda changes and it gets a little "Funky Techno-like"?
That music is from "The World Ends With You" A Nintendo DS game made by Square Enix (10/10) beautiful.

Very good, very clean. Still has some issues I dont like. Some Debuffs should have a stacking limit. And they shouldnt be carried of to cards you want to switch in. With Amaya, shadow curse as example, its carried to all your cards and so even if you switch them in their accuracy is still reduced, even though the card had never entered play. Its like having a truck that hit your best friend also magically broke your leg even though you werent there. So it turns into a stalemate because they just use shadow curse over and over. All your cards get a 120% reduced accuracy. So you cant do damage, and your opponent never stops using shadow curse because they recover the 20 needed to cast it every turn.

It would be lovely if one could equip more then one item, or if some of the percentages for success were a touch higher. It can be frustrating to use an attack and fail several times in a row when one should have a ninety-percent chance at success. Otherwise, although a touch unweildy at times, it is a fun game.

resette has a great idea. it is really annoying to have to win so many times. especially since you need cards to get better.

I haven't even played a round yet and I already noticed something askew... only a 2% chance to get a new card? And you have to WIN as well? Kinda sucks for people like me who only have 11 out of 46. I say increase the odds a little bit, and reward people like me who have few cards by letting you get cards if you lose too.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
such a great game, simple an great. i think it must have better chances to get a new card, i dunno, maybe a 10%???
but it still being good!!!

No-one should really care about the card rate, kongai was made to be a game that you can USE your cards, not get them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
just started playing today...about to be 4-3
the one comment i have right now is about acquiring cards....it's seems a little foolish that the drop rate for cards is not only extremely low, but also only if you win...i do think you should be rewarded for playing well, but since the game doesn't take into account the number of cards players have access to, someone with 50 cards to choose from has an obvious advantage over someone with 12, especially if they chose their starting cards poorly.
i think the drop rate should be increased and both players should earn cards, with the winner earning more or maybe having the first pick out of a couple?

wow playing kongai at last
very nice game some suggestions from me
- needs animations in the fights (moving of the Characters)
-when you host a match or join a random match you should also see the stats of your opponent not only the lvl

I came across somebody who didn't seem to speak English. Is there any way for you to translate the rules to other languages, if you haven't already done so? Also, in the middle of the game, I killed one of the opponents players, and they dissapeared, but nobody came in to replace them and I couldn't do anything to them until I switched out.

After my first practise match I see a lot of potential for this game. It seems limited at first but in combinations, attack differences and stacking, then add items it allows for quite a large range of customisable strategy... Intercepts keep some of the power gaming down - but can be a bad strategy. My first combo was Juju's Doom (KO after time), switch Pheobe's cracking whip (20% miss for opponent) stack. Combo for the win!

in BETA they do a lot of funky stuff.. such as change what half the cards do and ruin tons of decks.. to try and make game more even.. just get used to errors and huge changes

i dont usually like this card game type of game. but i must say if i were going to get into any it'd be this one. 3/5 for me.
