Under rating threshold (show) Why is that Carbunc? Isn't that the whole point of Popo's dart and Pheobe's deafening crack?

Under rating threshold (show) Soulraven: while more cards is good, this isn't a normal card game. The more cards there are in this game the harder it is to balance. They are coming out with more, but it is going to take a while.

Under rating threshold (show) and just to weigh in on the intercept question, its perfectly balanced. if you think someone is going to switch, you attack them. if they are, its like they're turning their backs to run. if not, they get a free shot at you

Under rating threshold (show) @all the people who are reminding me that bleeding ritual has two ranges: look, my point was that the attack MISSED, but i still got the effect. this is really annoying when the attack is something like, "deals 10dmg per turn for 4 turns"... etc. If the attack misses, the effect should as well if its interupted, the effect also shouldnt work, but in my experience it sometimes does and sometimes doesnt

Under rating threshold (show) I think this game should add more cards and make it a little easier to earn them. I think the least amount of cards for almost any card game should be 100. Its a great game though. Hope for some more cards.

Under rating threshold (show) @gewalt; There is a penalty for a failed intercept. It's called a wasted turn.

Under rating threshold (show) OK, it's getting seriously annoying - Kongregate, you need to remove the ability to leave/kick from games - high-ranked people are having serious issues finding quickmatch games. And while you are at it - speed up the quickmatch selection process. Waiting for a game to start only to find out you've been kicked is not fun.

Under rating threshold (show) I really hate playing against random people. I mean, I don't even know them. It can be a 10 years old child, it can be a good player, it can be a master of yomi. How the hell should I guess what hes gonna do if I don't know him? Although the wins/losses gives a hint, it's still hard. But I give this game a 5/5 anyway because I luv it s2 lol

Under rating threshold (show) another aspect of the strategy sp3ctrum is to be able to combine characters with a good item and to make a decent combination of characters to deal with different situations. Also you don't have to learn just the way your opponent is thinking. You can also play many matches and also learn the common techniques used with certain characters in the game. You then use this to your advantage by playing with this knowledge. Right now i have a little over 75% win ratio right now b/c i apply myself when i play an opponent. (and this includs some 5 card games mixed in which add even more strategy)

Under rating threshold (show) "designed for those who feel right at home snuggled up in their opponent's brain" that means you are supposed to read the other persons mind thats impossible especially over the internet. What i have bean doing so far is trying different combinations of my cards that i have in order to be prepared for anny situation.I don't have all the card but i have a lot of them. The more games you play the more games you win the more games you win the more cards you EARN.They do not allow you to trade cards yet because they want you to play more and get better before they start just letting people get better by trading cards by trading the ones they don't want.To everyone that keeps complaining about not being able to trade cards 1.just wait until the creators of Kongai think we are ready 2.you got to pick the three cards you start with!

Under rating threshold (show) @sp3ctrum: There is most certainly statistical data from RPS, gathered by and from RPS World Tournaments, and yes, rock is most commonly thrown in RPS games by males. Likely because it is subconsciously perceived to be "strong", but that's for another discussion. The same thing might be said about many of the moves in Kongai, some of which are perceived to be strong or untouchable moves. Learn them, and you gain the upperhand by throwing paper.

Under rating threshold (show) You know what would make this game more interesting? Random deck matches, i.e. matches where both players are REQUIRED to play with a random deck. Right now choosing random is interesting, but it almost invariably leaves one at a disadvantage if your opponent has a well-made deck and the RNG sticks you with, say, Tafari equipped with the Yellow Rock of Cowards.

Under rating threshold (show) hedhunter: Bleeding Ritual can be used at either range. You can only cancel attacks that may only be used at far by doing a Teleport - like Spiritual Assistance. Voidstream would be another attack that cannot be canceled by Teleport.

Under rating threshold (show) Another common misconception is that there is some sort of "super card" and that is just not true. EVERY card has his/her specific strengths and weaknesses. You couldn't possibly know what your opponent is choosing, let alone who your opponent is (if you’re playing random matchmaking). This means you can never prepare for what cards they have. Feel free to correct anything I have typed.

Under rating threshold (show) @BammBlue... First off there is no statistical data that shows most people choose rock in a game of rock, paper, scissors. Besides that, if you play a game of rps with some1, chances are you know them and you know their way of thinking. You can hardly relate that to kongai in which you face random multiple people. I could just as easily choose scissors first because I know that you're going to use paper. The odds are always the same in rps.. 33% chance of winning EVERY time. The only true strategy in kongai is to learn your opponent’s way of thinking and use that to your advantage. However, this is only a strategy and does not increase your chances of winning. Almost all of the hit ratios in this game are below 100% which means luck can always take effect…..

Under rating threshold (show) It works like this: If you suck and have no luck, you have a win/loss of 0:1. If you suck and have luck, you have 1:1. If you don't suck but have no luck, it's 2:1. If you don't suck but have luck, it's 3:1. So stop whining :P

Under rating threshold (show) There is actually alot of strategy here such as predicting your opponents moves and knowing when to swap out. However, you must also consider whether the opponent thinks you are going to swap, in which case you should stay in. It is this sort of circular logic that makes this game's strategy hard and different each game.
