This game sucks because I can't get it to load no matter how many times I try. Why should one game (this) fail when all others succeed?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
My net cut off for like 5 seconds and it screwed up my game to the point it did an attack i did not want to do and caused me to lose :(
Its not kongai's fault but damn my faulty net connection...

Adare, death mask IS working correctly. It only means that no matter what, the character still dies, not that he lives regardless.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
either it takes forever to load or on every P.C i have used are slow and sudjestions are that you should increase the rate of getting a card per game and trading cards

I'm not sure if the Death Mask isn't working like it should or if it's written description is wrong. Instead of dying at the end of next turn, as the text says, the character dies during that turn if they are killed before the end.

actually penney in the right hands against the right card she can be devestating, of course that is true for all of the cards.

The jungle folk are all very specialized, and powerful in the right hands... like blue in MTG. They are each very good at 1 or 2 things, so beatable..but awesome at what they do (ie trap, damaging cards not in play, interrupting, etc)

heh so many bugs...
I had this one just a game ago. anex inhate ability. 30% hp left = 50% more damage. If she dies and attacks at the same time, her ability doesn't activate.

16 wins, 16 losses, and so far I got 2 cards. I got 1 after 4 wins, but I played one ranked game just before that. I got my second card after winning (and playing) my first 5-card game. Maybe you are more likely to get more cards if you play more modes. Just a theory.

I have a suggestion if you find you are losing a lot - READ your opponents cards. and READ your own. You can actually see what their options are, how much energy, range, etc and second guess what they are about to do and react. Powerful attack coming? switch out. Think they are going to swap? Intercept. Once you recognize the characters this comes easier and faster.

PS: when i say make our own cards, we should have limited points(like and rpg game) so letsay we have 100 pts to start with, and were not gonna ut it all on dfense and get like 2 hp.so should think of a balanced card

I wonder if how often you win cards is a function of how many cards you have when you start.
@LokeyDokey are you sure that damage over time effects such as poison bleed, or attacks that hit cards not in play were not a factor? Never seen "auto die"
Did encounter one bug (forgive me if I get the names wrong):
I was using Zina, and my opponent had
Apolla (the archer) in play and "The Exiled Student" w/ 6 life out of play. I used the Tiger attack that hits all enemies, and my opponent switched out. The archer took no damage (as expected) but the student took lethal damage, and then came into play with 0 HP. My opponent said he couldn't do anything, and then when his time ran out, the student showed up as dead and the archer automatically came back into play - my opponent said he didn't choose to do that, it happened automatically.

Congratulations guys. You worked on this game for about a year; I played it for three hours and I'm completely bored.

I believe there should be a function that lets you view matches. It will help:
- newbies to learn the game and stratagies
- players to develop stratagy against a certian person (knowing how often to intercept/switch etc)

I take it back; trades are a bad idea.
I still don't know what people are talking about as far as overpowered cards - read your opponents cards there is a weakness. Some are more well-rounded than others, but have less staying power or attack damage.

i agree trade function would be a bad idea but i dont think it would b a bad idea that u can "bet" a card maybe once every like 3 days so people dont get cards constantly
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
They're not going to add trade because the ONLY way that Kong earns money is through advertisements, and if everybody just plays one game, they earn half as much...

quoting myself: Make us able to switch starters after playing 10 games. Picking your starter cards when you know nothing about the game is aweful.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Stop asking for a trade function! They won't add it in this stage in the development of the game, because it wouldn't be an improvement. Why?
- not enough cards + only 10 really good cards (trading would be fun if there were +300 cards)
- because of the low number of cards trading would result in all decks being the same = not fun!
- trading = way to cheat!
- experienced players will take advantage of new players to get the best out of trades
- kongregate wants u to play other games (challanges); they don't want you to have the cards u want (it's a motivation to make you play games)
- trading will take the thrill of winning cards away
I guess they will add it one day, but it won't be in the next few months.

It isnt a problem if your opponent takes a long time to move and they actually make good moves, it means they are using strategy more than you. The last thing they need to do is take strategy out of the game.

This is ok, but could be far better, the range modifeiers are wierd in the fact that they require almost half your energy, while most atacks do not take more than 30 energy. Additionally, i wish there were more starter cards for newer players
