I could've gotten the Girdle of Iron Will as a starter, but I didn't have any experience with the game, so I didn't think it was that great, and since you can't switch starters_yet..._

deathmax: there is kind of, your charachter must wait one turn after being switched in to be switched out.....other from that you have the decentley powerful, very low energy cost , if hard to pull off, attack of the intercept.

I HATE disruptive attacks. They should have a reasonable chance of blocking the opponent's attack, not a guaranteed one.

along the topic of a shop, i think the badge points from other games should be used to purchase cards. however, your kongregate level shouldnt decrease, but points are exchanged.

Just had a glitch where both of us were waiting for our opponent but neither of us had any options/attacks able to use. This has happened a few times...always ends in a time-out.

thats what i was talking about ... same card cooler look because its foil...
you didnt played much trading card games ... otherwise you would have known what "foil" means...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think they way of obtaining cards is good. You don't want everyone to have all cards. Maybe some more challenging challenges, for the better cards
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is not pokemon. There are no 'rare' cards. The devs are working very hard to balance all the cards so that there are no 'better' cards.
Just because a lot of people use the same strategy, does not mean that there aren't other, better strategies.

id like to see some sort of rarity system ... maybe make some kind of foil cards which have extra cool looking moves ... which only drop one in a hundred...

Nice, I got my first card from a win, the Stoneheel Totem. Funny thing though, I just changed decks and both times the opponent forfeited when I had Higashi and Mindreader. does that scare people or something?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i also dislike earning better cards through success, because it would only make the good better and the bad get trampled everytime with very little chance to advance within the game...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
if we were to buy cards with real money it would be like selling success in this game, which completely defeats the point of the game, not to mention you would need to be constantly adding all sorts of cards..
also, i changed my mind from several pages ago, i disagree with the idea of buying cards, it should not be too difficult to obtain all of the cards, this is a game of strategy, there should be lots more cards to give strategies variety, and all the cards should be fairly even with their own strengths and weaknesses...

pwnzor: don't forget, the people at kong also have their own motives. The current challenge system is designed for you all to visit the game pages frequently, which means more revenue from ads. They won't mind making more money from a Kongai shop.
SMC: then everyone will spread the word on where the easter eggs are, then the easter egg cards will no longer be special.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
what if kongregate ask some developers to putt easter egss in their games, and if you found 1 of them you will be priced with a card. most chance of bad cards, less chance for good cards.

bewnt: the reason y i dont like having a shop when u use real money is that prolly the cards in the shop are going to be beast and a few ppl will buy them and then own everyone else. then when everyone else gets tired of losing they are going to buy cards too and then eventually everyone is going to be on even ground again so wut was the point of buying the cards in the first place if they didnt help u much. and all the while kongregate is making lots of money while wut the ppl r paying for are not getting wut they r buying which is to be a step above everyone else

I still think tafari needs to not be as stacked as he is. He is too strong of a character especially with his moves and innate abilities.

muzzz: A card with no labels is an original card you got from playing older challenges. R1 = re-release, a card obtained from playing recent challenges. K = a card you won from the 2% in-game.
pwnzor: well it's still technically free, since you may still obtain the cards through free challenges.

i've had two players today begging me to forfeit 'because I'm already good and they aren't yet' and 'plsplspls I need'.
Besides muting those individuals, is there some way to blacklist these irritating players to warn others they will beg for 'free stuff'?
My personal blacklist so far:
-RonMiguel
-Dragonlord08
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There should be some blacklist, user rating thing, so when can blakclist lamers, who just stop playing when they are about to loose. It's so anoying having to wait a minute to do a turn to win

there could be a few more options. such as :
1. trade cards
2. 1 chance to repick your starter cards
3. for every win you gain 1 point as stated before. but these points go towards buying cards from a new shop option which has cards that cannot be obtained from weekly challenges or wins.
let me no wot u think

Remake Remake Remake!! The game is ultra good but i wont stop whinning until all cards are 100% usefull... It is a strategy game and cards must be different but ''different'' doesn't mean ''not as good as''.

h2. everyone thinks that one certain card is overpowered, and they rarely think it of the same card. i think its just that certain cards throw off certain individuals playing styles. I for one can never seem to kill marquis

sgtdroopy: the "starter" is so people who earn cards from challenges, etc, get nice looking cards. It's to attract people to playing challenges. Yes, the current options aren't ideal. Relax, my crack team of mad-scientists are hard at work on the solution. They expect a result by yesterday, but that's the madness speaking. ;)

If you can't beat them, join them :) If you think any card is overpowered, add it to your deck, and if you think a card is underpowered, get rid of it:) So enough complains

Lightsun, if you tell all your friends about Kongai and it does well, you'd make it more possible to see a team game similar to Kongai (but probably with 1vs1 support, too). Not guaranteed, but more possible.

Plix is right; certain people will be able to take cards that others think are bad and work wonders with them in the right situation, with the right deck configuration. People generally think that everybody is the same—they may not say it, but it's reflected in their actions. Finally, oodles of testing has proven what I always intuitively knew and everyone told me I was wrong about, heh (to their defence, they didn't have the talent themes to be able to see the uniqueness in each person, just like I can't see when I should apply empathy, or even how to apply it). People say, “enough of this self help glop”, but these are the mechanics that heavily influence your life, much like gravity, or how you might not look under the hood of your car, but if you understand your engine, you know more about what your car can and can’t do.

It is definitely true that some cards are stronger than others, although it is also true that certain cards are good on only some cards. But this game still needs lots of balancing, Andromeda is probably the worst. After balancing is finished, I would like to see the characters, actually move and it would be cool if there are 50 cards instead of 46. Generally, this is my favorite game on Kongregate, so keep it up Kong Team you guys are ballin. @{-_-}@
