dr baker: Hypno Stare is not an interrupt, but a reflect. And only Higashi's Open Palm is an interrupt, stuns are still able to work against Ashi.

proc is how much percent of a chance you have to have the moves special effect activate. Like for pilebuncker you have like a 20 percent chance to soul crush which is your proc.

I used Ashi and switched out, incorrectly thinking she would not get intercepted. When she did get intercepted, I mistakenly thought it was because her opponent possessed the Oragami Crane. The fact that the Crane does not influence intercepts was lost on me; I thought that intercepts were considered attacks when they were successful.
I know now that she does not possess the ability to switch without the possibility of being interrupted, and that intercepts are not considered attacks.
I also understand that interrupts are things like Hypnotic Stare, Open Palm, and Knee Bash. Thanks for making me feel dumb enough to read up on it -- I guess sometimes a dunce cap is just what the Dr. ordered.

no, i completely understand the confusion there, many people have posted comments in which they confused ashi's innate ability. What I don't understand is what an immunity to intercepts (which would be a ridiculously good ability, btw) has to do with origami crane.

The words "interrupt" and "intercept" closely resemble each other; is it that far-fetched to think someone with three matches under their belt might get the two confused?

dr baker: your question doesn't even begin to make sense. ashi's innate ability is an immunity to interrupts and origami crane has nothing to do with intercepts or interrupts.

When Ashi is matched against an opponent using the oragami crane, does she lose her innate ability (immunity to intercepts)?

He's quite right with his 50% assumption... But I also think the 3% get modulated by the amount of cards you have. 61 wins and not a single card yet ;)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
23 games that you win of course. Its all about how many cards you have. When i had 5 card i used to get them after every 3 games. I have 79 now and its muhc more difficult.

@rmagere, all cards and items are shown as starter if the opponent is playing random. As far as I know you dont get any starter items.

Rengo the problem it radiance burs is not good to reflec because vanesa voss have 10 light magic resist and hpnotic stare is an attak and can't be usefull against if the enemy hits firs. SO BEFORE TALK EXAMINE THE SITUATION

@stabs420: I agree the change location buttons seem backwards. I have clicked the wrong one five times. Wasted the mana and lost because my card needed the other range. Better would be dialog over the locations with appropriate text: "Force Stay" "Move Far" "Move Near" and "Pass". This would also help newbies notice action is needed; highlighting gold is not noticeable.

A tip for beginners, if you pick your cards later and play random cards for like 10 win games, the later when u pick your cards, u can pick items too. This say would be good if u won a hiashi, then you can pick the scroll etc.

A lot of people will concur that something is wrong with ubuntu's luck - whenever someone hits against him with a ridiculously small proc it seems to succeed at a much higher rate than it should....

if you use chi reflect against radiance burst or hypnotic stare against shadow wrath, it doesn´t reflect and it attack all enemies

@imbored, you will either gain or lose rank pts based on the level difference between you and your opponent. The higher the difference the more you will gain/lose

you should move get close near to pass and get far far away, that would make more sense why would you have close far and far close? stupid otherwise a good game
