Shotgun Deck: Leads with Rumiko with the Stoneheel Totem; Higashi with Mindreader's Chalice; Onimaru with Healing Salve. The Shotgun deck is name for the situation it's build to put people in. I can generally manuver people into being in the Far position with my Higashi at at least 80 energy. This gives them the painful choice to stand or withdraw. If I pick right, I either damage them for 65 plus 3 over 4 turns or I intercept for 75 damage. It's a 50/50 of chance of giving me a decisive lead early on.

The server is exceptionally crappy lately. If you play, be prepared to suffer a lot of losses due to lag skipping your turn.

Spirit Assistance is fine. Onimaru's Double Slash costs the same and deals 52 damage on the SAME turn + a proc that disables range changes. And it's the only decently powerful move Ubuntu has.

just incase u guys were wondering :) might need to up the numder of ways 2 get cards tho. Like maybe take 1 month to complete the set? right now the repeated usage of a single deck for players who do not have 46/46 is kind of boring

I got 78 cards total, which equals to doubles from most (not sure if got any triples yet) And I got about +20 or so before game was released. Figure out how many i won from games ^^

well i have all cards and mutliples of many items withouth spending a single cent, just loyalty to the site and also playing alot

At first I didn't like it at all, but after playing against real people it's grown on me and I've come to realize that there is a good deal of skill to it.
My recommendation? Give it a second chance.

Well, I have all 46 cards, and had 42 of them before the game was even released. Loyalty is rewarded, and I look forward to a new set so I can actually expend my collection instead of just getting doubles.

This is actually a fantastic game, based on experience and forward thinking. Whilst there is a small luck element, it adds to the game's excitement and tension. Well done Kongregate!

@barnard_grey - i think not. IMHO this game is ~40% skills; ~30% good deck and ~30% luck. to win u have to have 2 of 3 or just more than 50% :) some times even great skills (40%) and poorly made deck (15%) with bad luck (0%) is enough to win...

Im not a fan of card-games, and this game does not change that. Yes, its fun to collect cards, but thats it...
The game itself is really not that great.

To anyone who thinks the whole game is luck. Keep playing and get to making a deck that suites you and a stratergy you can work by. I have a very certain deck and a very particular stratergy and it works like a charm. Granted i have played over 500 matches but luck isnt everything. Learn to out think you oponant, learn how they think, do they switch alot? do they like to tank? do the use a certain tactic, then use what you have to get around that.

Saying it has any skill is just plain ignorant. No matter how much you think it over, no matter how smart you are, no matter how many times you say, he's gotta do this, he has no choice, then you think you're making the right decision, but he makes the wrong one and negates your oh so skillful choice. Thats luck right there.

Well sometimes it feels so rigged, but what the heck its all about stats.
I had misses 3 95% in a row. Opponent stayed alive 3 times in a row on a 30% item (dont remember name)
Aint gonna play it no more since i got the badge now. 4/5 from me
