I don't think Point Based system would work. For one thing the card chars were balanced by customized handcrafting, which would seriously clash with some OP and UP pointbased cards.

Unfortunately, gutterstar, the point-based design system would be either A. Highly Unbalanced, or B. Highly Unoriginal Output.
Effects would have to be categorized by their effectiveness, and then listed, basically resulting in a mix-and-match system. Furthermore, the effects vary in usefulness based on the card set; for example, in the Martial Arts Set, Origami Crane is far underused, as most of the Martial Artists' moves are accurate enough to merit other, more effective items, to the stand. However, if the same effect were to be transferred to the Villagers set, then not only would Popo instantly rise to godlyness, but other items would be left in the dark.

@catpaw im usualy the one hosting the matches but i mean if a level 1-2-3-4-5 decides to fight me then i will fight back but i have been known to beat level 10's and so on :) im not bad but im not good...

I'd buy a card from the site if they were for sale.
And solicit character and item designs from the community. there should be a pretty easy point-based design system that players can use, a la steve jackson's hero system, to maintain balance.

Good grief, it seems like this should be easy, but it keeps kicking my butt... I just don't have a knack for this one, but it's fun playing! :)

But really, kongbot is a piece of cake. Lost the first time I faced it because I didn't know how to play, but the next 3 fights were ezpz.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it sucks the kong bot is set up for you not to win and like when your like just bout to kill it it kills you with double the power

@Catpaw: Flash Powder and Gem of Souls were the last cards to come out for the R1 set so yes, you can have all the cards from challenges. They brought out R2 cards because every card has been released once.

how in the hell is this stolen, egalor? it has their name, their brand - hell, they even have a weblog about production and development for it. Just because the single game you have sucks ass doesn't mean you nerf other games.

Egalor. THIS IS KONGREGATE'S GAME! IT TAKES NAMES FROM KONG. IT HAS KONG IN THE FREAKING NAME. HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE? AND FOR A LEVEL 25?.... god.. whatd you do, steal an account? omg...

win/los ratios do not come with any bragging rights. It tells nothing about your skill, only your lameness when its about picking only players that are no challenge.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
its not yet possible to have all cards from challenges. I think 5-10 cards or so have not yet been available for challanges

255 wins to 57 losses, that's a ... very impresive win:loss ratio :) --------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------
WAY more impresive than yours, even thought technicaly its a low W/L ratio, but id like to see you at 255 wins with even 70 losses =P

It's very hard to get the whole collection by simply playing Kongai, but winning them through other Kongregate Card challenges is possible.
Although I'd love to see a full set of "K" cards. ;)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
you should get a bonus for getting a complete collection. like a special card for getting all the amazons or something
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
of course it is possible to get all 46 cards. i have seen many people with 44/46 cards and 1 with a complete collection.

After about 60 wins I won 3 cards in a row, and I had 39 cards at that point... So I'm not sure if your chance of winning a card decreases if you have more cards... Who knows?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Terrible game with random cards and even more random mechanics, really disappointing. How could you make earning cards so damn hard. Hardcore fail...
konga y indeed

I've got 15 wins and 3 losses and not including my starter cards or Kongregate game challenge cards, I've won about 3-4 cards so far, probably closer to 3.
