Hey Happy_Man (the guy that says "...my deck sucks! And will continue to do so until I pay real money!"): I have not paid a dime and my deck is fine. I have gotten about 20 cards by playing over 300 games. I also have 9 cards courtesy of weekly challenges. Both methods take time, which is money in some people's eyes. So I guess in a way you are right, in a way... lol.

mmm DImt just a matter of luck ;D.... xd my luck is good and urs is bad.... i'd have it the other way around ;D stupid when i dodged 3 in a row it owned xd

this game is so stupid. 8 straight physical attacks vs popo wiht elusive feather and no dodge(2 games 4 attacks in each game) wtf is wrong with this game and my dart missed 2 times in a row while popo wouldnt dodge one f*cking attack

LOL-true. Its moderately fun until you realize- Hey, my deck sucks! And will continue to do so until I pay real money! Then you start to get farmed. To expound on the Pokemon metaphor, it's like trying to beat The Elite 4 with a pidgey, and they hate you.

This isn't really a card game....... a 6-card deck (that's counting items)? It's basically "revamped Pokemon." Think about it- 4 different attacks? A held item? Swapping out? Its Pokemon!!! The card concept is just so Kongregate can sell us the cards and make an easy buck! Somebody tired of losing will come along and think to themselves, "Well, I keep getting my ass kicked by people with better decks than mine. Maybe if I had more than 4 cards, I'd win!" Gotta catch 'em all!

Lawl. Played against a nub that had a Mind Readers Chalice on Tafari. I hope he was playing random cards, and didn't do that on purpose... that's just stupid.

mmm DAMN! lets see... anex power tosses amaya.... anex is at 2 health. she hits, crits, and does 127 damage. oh lord...

ive noticed for me that it comes down to a few sure moves, that usually work, and that they work better or fail by chance...imagine vv vs vv DS and one misses...

Pawning 5 cards without loosign one is always a great feeling...
Even against n00bs: They play mostly random and crits/popos can still kill a card of yours with the best planning ...

1) Thats why this isn't called chess
2) The percentages of everything is given to you to make an educated calculation, instead of having to count cards like regular card games to calculate risk percentage

Two points to say:
First - Kongai is much more luck-based then other card games. Even when you can try to calculate the luck into your strategy.
Second: If someone says "It missed 3 times a 30%" it sounds creepy. But there's a little thinkign error, you will only know, if you make math on expanded level (in my country that means grade 12 math): If the 30% triggers 2 times not in a row, most people will say "Now it should trigger, 30% is about 1 of 3".
But the already not-triggered 30%'s are done. So the chanche for the next one is still 30%.
So, over total, you will always (even if you don't want to think so) think, that the 30% is much lower then it actually is. that could be a reason for all the "Kongai RNG is messed up" comments...

@ Voltair
True, there is an element of chance in all such card games. But would you not agreed the chance should be controlled chance, not just pure randomness.

@ blinks - I haven't played Kongai for too long, only a little over 3 weeks. That said, I've played card games for a long time, and one of the elements involved in ANY card game includes randomness and risk calculation. I don't find the percentages in Kongai much different from the percentages in any other game. The game simply isn't designed to calculate a certain number of moves in advance like chess. By all means, do so - it's still wise, you just can't rely on your calculations methodically.

Having played for quite a while (since beta) Kongai is a good game concept, but the randomness inherit in percentages and criticals just ruins strategies far too often. I can't count the number of times I've planned out a strategy 2 or 3 turns in advance that would allow me to take advantage of my opponent's weakness then had a random critical ruin it. Last I checked pawns don't have a 10% chance to kill the queen when they're attacked, for good reason.

Quincy: Stare only reflects the part of the attack that hits CC, the rest of your team will still get hit. This isn't a bug, this is intentional.

I dont understand people who cant stand losing... I switch out at the right times and he misses and I pwn him, and he calls me loser... if you cant deal with it, dont play it...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
to quincynater - thats becuase you will only reflect the atack done to you so the shadow wrath done on your CC will be reflected and it wil deal damage to amaya but the damage that your other characters wil get wil not be reflected

hyperjumble It's not about cheaters, at least not that I can know for sure, its about the servers having "issues"
Just lost pts myself when it had an issue before my last kill move.
