and match chat tends to work on I.E. if a lot of lines are typed, so if youre that worried about it just spam something and it should eventually appear.

This is a pretty cool game except that it has gotten more and more buggy and the developers don't seem to care. I have seen more bugs in the last 50 games then all the rest I have played put together...plus the in game chat has been broken forever... come on devs at least post some kind of comment if your working on it

Reading comprehension ftw. It's impossible to get -40% hit rate, as effects take a percentage off 95%, so you will never reach a negative number.

It's possible that only the turns in which the effect persists overlays, and the modifier doesn't stack. If that isn't the case then Amaya is overpowered. Being able to control range, opponent team's hit rate and disabling enemy attacks + high damage range attack and damaging cards in the opponents hand should be enough to make him a great team player. He's weak by himself, but he has won me a few matches. From knocking out already damaged players in the opponents hand to debuffing and setting up range for my heavy ranged hitters.

Okay, I had a popo the younger use a slinghot on me with 5 of amaya's shadow curses on him, and he still hit me and triple critted me. How did he hit me if he had -40% chance to hit?

Well, I usually keep saying that I don't like randomness in game - even if it's fair, and Kongai isn't an exception here, but on the other hand... well, I noticed that this is a part that causes most of excitement when I play. By the way: one thing can be both: 50-50 shot for an amateur and 80-20 calculation for a prof.

i would prefer that most attacks have a 100% hit chance, and certain special attacks (like power toss, for example) should have a lower hit rate, like slingshot. once the possibility of missing comes into a game, it becomes dominated by the rng. certainly one needs to make decisions, but really, no matter how good ones decisions are, victory is entirely dependent upon the rng smiling on you.

Kamikazoo: What do you mean "more than statistically possible"? Hiclic is right (ok, a small correction is needed: debuffs subtract from your current hit chance). Now you would really need to collect results of many, many attacks, group them by percentage and - analyze carefully (mean, variation and so on). It should follow Gaussian bell curve - if chances are fair. But there is always some (usually small) probability for statistical mistake.
Last few words: For me the odds seem to be even. :)

I don't think you understand statistics very well. Why don't you calculate every hit/miss that occurs for one character against another vanilla (to remove any random hit reducing items or miss inducing attacks. For Example, Amaya can apply a 20% miss rate to your entire team for 7 turns. With 5% already lost from a plain attack it's equivalent to a 25% miss rate per character). Once you have 1,000 to 10,000 (preferable) strikes come back and post the findings. Then everyone who cares can interpret the data themselves.

@kamikazoo's comment, if they make it so people don't have to worry about missing a move tat supposed to have a 95% hit, then all the attacks are going to be 100%. There has to be some certain % where u will miss.

Yep.Most people play like 20 games and then whine about the bad luck.Yeah, it DOES get annoying sometimes, but IN THE LONG RUN you will have a better record if you are a better player.

Is it just people getting bored or what? I'm experiencing players that immediately quit within the first move of a turn. I know I'm not that good, or fearsome, to warrant that kind of treatment :P

i'm just disappointed. this is my favorite game but the bugs just keep ruin it for me. i had to play a someone without being able to see which card i was up against, nor see his items he had equipped his players with nor see what attack he used. best yet, attacks of mine were blocked. it showed you could click them but it just wouldn't click. same thing for rest or switch. you could see all that from the details tag but that is no real way to play the game. he kept critically hitting with attacks that have no crit. that was the most bs loss ever. and i have over 1000 games so i'm not some new player bitchin. the bugs have killed this game and that is why only a handful players still play it. it used to be such a larger community once. i guess Kongregate left for dead their most prized possession. This is such a disappointed. Kongai is what kept me coming back to Kongragate and not somewhere else.

diceraped again by an opponent that was outplayed.
for the 4th battle in a row, i had at least 2 tafari poison darts fail to proc poison on either the dart OR vial, i miss his tafari with mine, so his gets two shots off instead on 0 (he was slowed on the first one), and both darts proc both poisons, every 30% proc went off for the entire match.
this was the 3rd game running this sort of crap has happened. of my 15 or so losses all but maybe 2 have been purely as a result of luck. anyone who thinks this game is anythign other than an rng-fest is kidding themselves
