tummyfish: yea kinda... but have you played against someone who has like 1000 matches under their belt? its insane how often i'm intercepted and dodged... there's gotta be something more than luck in that

2 things
1. awful game 1/5
2. so if we already met the requirements for the badges do we have to do them AG?AIN?? wtf in no other game its like this

supermarth64, you could say the same of any attack that can hit you as you switch. Either kill Anex, as you said, or switch out and take the hit. Better yet, don't get into that situation in the first place.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the skill lies in how fast and how accurately you can read an opponent and how well you can come up with a strategy to counter them
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There is no way to escape from Anex's boomerang chakkra once you're in her killing range unless you kill her first. (And how many non-valked Anexes do you see?)

@dallenkkj if its a large porsion how come my record is 312-90 and there are people with waaaaaaaaaaaay better records than me? thats the point is that in this game "skill"=playing a good psychological game and being able to determine what ur opponent will do

@whoever is @ing me.
My win rate is currently 120 - 60
and i still feel its completely luck.
Its complete bullsh\t how you guys say it take skill and strategy, because then you must have an infinite amount of strategies against different players.
Example:
Some players may switch out when their Marquis is low health, others try to use reverse psychology and not switch out.
The verdict? TO INTERCEPT OR NOT INTERCEPT?
Now you have a 50 - 50 chance to kill that marquis. Its all luck and coincidences.
However, I'm not trying to say there is no skill involved at all. Though, there is minimal skill involved.
As long as a person knows what each card does, the defense system, and the opponent card's skills and innate ability, then you have just implemented some "skill."
The rest is just how lucky you are and how your decisions coincides with your opponents'.

Not to mention, doesn't look like you're doing ranked games. And if it's 5 card, it's even easier. A Voss/Zina/Amaya/2 others deck will absolutely rock most 5 carders out there. With a little skill, you can go 50-1 with ease.
3-card ranked is where the challenge comes in.

@ I Fought The Law
I haven't, but I've seen some people that might have... I remember one guy who was 400 something and like 12, and it only gets harder as you rank up.

There are times when luck is a factor.
Just played a game against a guy and I missed 6 times in a row. Oy.
Almost won anyways, but was too beat down by all the misses. It happens. I won a game a bit earlier because a guy missed a hit at an important point.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like how people say that this game is pure luck.
This is one of the most skill based games out there, the only luck involved is miss/crit.

The thing about this challenge is that it's the only badge on Kong that everybody can't win. Since you level down by losing, only the best can win the hard badge... That somehow goes against the badge-idea as I understood it.

don't listen to TEHGHEYZUMBEE
it's an hoax!
here's a link to symantec that shows that it's an hoax.

don't pass it on to anyone 'cause there isn't such thing :-)

same here richard233. I was skill:4 and he was skill:9. I only got 26 more ranked points then i would against someone the same level as me.
And what is the new card percentage in a ranked match?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I play 5 card so its not ranked but I don't play just newbs. Ive only played a few.
Don't play 3 card as I want Anex first.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
you play someone higher up, you get more points if you win. Play someone lower, you get less.
I've been beat by people who were good and just did not have the points yet to show for it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
yea honestly, screw this rank bull. I'm level 2 and recently lost a battle which sent me to rank 1. I was then matched up with someone who's level 7 and has done roughly 200 battles. the hell is up with that?!?!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I agree that its more about skill than not. 49/50 would be quite impressive. Are you only playing newbees? You should be at the top of the rank charts with that kind of win/loss ratio
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
bet on luck, that's the key. Any other alternative will be beaten by opponent's luck. Strategy is eaten by proc luck.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
To those of you complaining about being matched up against people with a higher rank, you should know that you're matched up based on your SKILL rank, that way you're really playing someone who is roughly around your skill level.

i can't use the chat option to type something to my opponite this sux . well thats like on every game but ya i can't chat at all arg

arnoldscat: while several people share your opinion, switching and intercepting are the only things that add real strategy to this game. Its extremely easy to determine the best move in a given situation and if you you didn't have the option to switch you wouldn't have any real decisions to make. If you're frustrated with all your power moves being evaded, try intercepting, its really satisfying to catch someone when they try and run away.
