Helene is immune to poison? I fought a CPU and it said she was immune. It's not her innate ability, and she had no item to block it. Is that right?

When a % to miss attack is used on your caracter's heal(and self buff im assuming) is lowered in % to activate
When anex is switched you with less than 30% hp and gains over 30% she looses the inate ability

other than the character sometimes misses the battlefield and fight from out of the window, I think problem is a somewhat unbalanced attacks
like Juju's 99 damage in 4 turns, I mean you could kill him in that time, but your death is inevitable, and none of the characters has 99 energy,
it would be suitable if you would be left on 90 percent of your hp or something, or even on 1hp, Ubuntu's spirit assistance is also a pain in the ass, maybe a 50% of hp instead of a 50
I don't know, maybe I didn't play the game so much to see if someone kicks ass whilst doomed by Juju, or it's just annoying me personally
I would like to conclude it's a great game, I can't wait to see a ranking system and competitions and such

@Lytris: If you hit an opponent with a faster attack that kills him/her, that character doesn't get a chance to attack. What you probably saw was two characters using attacks with identical speed. Those resolve simultaneously, but one of them still needs to be displayed first.

lytris, that's the way it works. you may be confused because the speed of the attack that u killed someone with may have been the same speed, u may have been nerfed by an enemy spell to get lower speed, your opponent had an item that increased speed, your opponent had an item that left him alive with 1 hp, or your opponent had 1 hp left. if not, then there's something wrong with your games. if someone dies and you kill them with a faster move, they shouldn't be able to attack back with a slower move.

Lytris: re switching...
The way I understand it, part of the mind games is deciding whether your opponent is going to switch out when you are charged up (have enough energy) for your "power attack." Intercept and they stay, you may have lost your chance to use the power attack....attack and they switch, you waste your energy...attack and they risk you will guess intercept, and you likely kill them or weaken them beyond effective recovery...any other switching method would not set up this "chess game"

Okay, so new comment..
Enemies get to attack even after they're dead, since hp doesn't update till end of turn, which actually just lost me a game. Couldn't there be an actual 'turn' decided by the faster attack speed, and when it switches to the slower attacker, if it has no hp, have it not attack, but just die?
Like i said before, good mechanics, they just need some tweaking.

Oh, Also, Lytis, there are cards that force damage on opponents. Caltrops, Yellow gem of the Coward. (8 damage per switch, 5 damage per switch respectively.)

Switching out becomes a big problem when that's really all your opponent does. To fix this could it be possible to do damage with an attack to whatever they switch to? Or waste no energy on the attack if it misses because of switching? It just seems a bit unfair to have attacks that cost most of a card's energy to be complete fizzles.

i really like this game. Its fun, and the fact that the game is different every time makes it fun to play again and again. I agree with everyone that said that you should be able to re-pick starters. I also agree with fuzue that there should be some sort of animation, if you can put that in. Sometimes the enemy doesn't show up in the screen in the first turn, and the attacks seem to be coming from the bottom of the screen.

A thought occurred to me: A lot of testers (particularly incoming players) make the same suggestions. This isn't a dig at those testers, but merely a consequence of having hundreds of comments. It might be a good idea to list some of the more common suggestions in some easy-to-find area (such as the game description) so that everyone knows what's been brought up already.

@Lyaxe: I think that's the idea. An item which makes the opponent use a different strategy isn't worthless. That being said, Jade Statue is scheduled for a complete change. Check the change logs.

I've been on Kongregate since the Protector card, and all of the ones since then have been obtainable without much effort -- just enough to get people to try the game. That's changed with the execrable Thing-Thing 4. Is there going to be some other way of getting that card?

The lag in the game/server is unbearable at times...don't even get a chance to move or select attack...can't see enemy when they enter screen...Please FIX server issues BEFORE inviting more people

I like it, as far a card games go, this is exceptional, I don't quite understand how the ranking system works, I thought I did, but I saw someone that had over a hundred wins, 20 losses and was only 2 star :S Does anyone have any comments on this? Thanks

stone head totem works during the combat phase making your four abilities cost more, it does not effect maneuver phase. You will never take damage when you switch unless they intercept or use a special attack that says it hits fleeing characters.

It appears that the stoneheel totem item doesn't work. My opponents have had the item equipped but it only cost 50 to change range. Also I'm a little confused with the switch function. Does it have a set speed? Or does it always happen before your opponents attacks?

Andromeda is not imbalanced for a number of reasons.
Her ultimate is insanely slow and also needs 55 energy to do meaning she cannot ulti if she changes distance
Her attacks at far range do peanuts to some meele heros with decent armour and you can always rest and try to get close.

Andromeda is way unbalanced!
There is NO WAY to beat her with a close range character; you cannot make her so powerful at far range; maybe lower her extra gain?

General's Insignia didn't affect Andromeda's single hit attack (I was playing single player, random card, didn't know if it happens in multiplayer)
