Today was the first day since being invited that I actually sat down, learned the game, and played it.
Addiction.
The game is great, I love the feeling of mind reading and strategy- it's so satisfying to PIN someone when they try to escape!
But enough of that. Feedback time, not raving time!
Cooldown needs to be longer. Switching out constantly is a cheap tactic, though fun to block.
And the timer. The other player gets a load of time after the clock even runs out. That shouldn't happen. What's the point of the clock?

why should the doom debuff be any different form the other debuffs, in the time that your character is doomed you can kill at least one of the enemys players easy, because they refrain from attacking you in most cases and when your doomed why would you switch out anyway.

lacking in gameplay, and some older cards are super overpowered. i also agree that the cd for switch should be increased, as players can keep switching out w/o getting hit

The game currently rely on luck too much.
Just lost twice in the tourney, both times were because of back luck.. the game is filled with abilities that are useless unless they proc, and when they do they are over powered, I know that luck doesn't make the game imbalanced, but it makes it bad..
I am sure you will get more players if it was more strategy based.

@jbaird77
that would unbalance the system, intercepts shoukld be free just as switches are free. The penalty for a failed intercept is that you essentially do nothing on the turn.

Perhaps this was already commented on, or maybe even i already posted so sry if that's so, but I think you should create a "zoomed out overview", like a grid with all the cards at a glance because i think the current system of building decks requires too much scrolling and I don't like the order the cards are sorted at all. We need more flexibility in card management.
Plus, what about a way to trade in doubles? I've already got lots of cards since I've been round from the beginning, and they seem pretty useless (in fact differ little from the R1's).

We need a tester option that lets you have 1V1 matches with the comp, and you can pick both cards. nice for testing strategy

It's quite anoying when you have to wait 30 seconds for your opponent to pass, when he doesn't have energy for moving at all...

It gives the opponant too long if they've gone away and left the game on. It gives and extra 45 seconds after the little clock has run out, which I think is silly, it should just go round the clock and chuck them :)

switching out is part of the strategy involved in kongai. if you cant predict it, then you most likely suck, there's an intercept option for a reason. if you don't want people to switch out as much, use tafari. and always losing 10 hp when switching out kills the purpose of switching out, and kinda kills MLM's innate. there's nothing wrong with switching.

Why would it be stupid? Switching out is very easy, there should be some kind of limit on it, like, as flarewolf said, losing 10 hp if they switch. Or something like that.

whenever I go to click save and continue after picking my 3 starter cards it comes up Error: Server or communication error

no mastercodex it is not impossibl i intercepted the first time i tried it. It all is about luck if the other person also uses it

ebarret I think they're mostly trying to avoid unstoppable matchups. That version of amaya nearly autowins against characters with only slow attacks.

TY ebarret! Im so happy when i see comments that actually have reasonable points abouy improving the game. Thumbs up for Amaya.

amaya's ninja-port could be changed to, say, 7 speed, 90% accuracy and zero damage. would be much more in character for the slippery annoying bastard that he is, and also would make using amaya less of a liability - against how many characters can you use amaya's ninja-port without losing 80% of his health before it hits simply because everyone has a reasonable-cost, faster- or same-speed close-range attack, when not two (to make his innate not much helpful here)?

aerow: the amazons DID wade into battle with nary any clothes on in the greek mythology. from homer's iliad: "raging penthesilea led the armies of the amazons with their moon-shaped shields, and burned, eager in the midst of the thousands, a warrioress fastening beneath her naked breast a golden girdle, and dared, a maiden, to charge against men".
