Cornelius with tomb is overpowered no doubt about it.
However, Anex? Anex is definitely not overpowered just useful in some specific situation. Anex may APPEAR overpowered because the players who were using her used her in the right situation.

cornelius is not very good, but pile bunker can kill you with one hit, so it may be overpowered. by the same token, would some other power move like chi blast or slingshot (yes slingshot) be over powered? I don't think so. just switch out to avoid it.

CC with tome can be a pain. At a distance he has the void which will cause up to 24 pts fairly quickly. Up close he has the hypno. Still, mostly fair. The problem with anex is her extra damage after she is down. Couple that with her speed stealing slash...

Wait, I said that wrong. Fighting a higher level gives more rank points for a win and takes away less points for a loss. Fighting a lower level will give less points for a win and take a way more for losing.

@megamanO Rank has a lot of effect on what happens after a game. Fighting a higher level gives more points for a win and takes away more for a loss. Vice-versa for fighting lowerlevels.

if anex and cornelius are overpowered against you, you should make your deck more balanced. I'm not a master at this game, but my decks are balanced

You should think about boosting some item, like:
Reinforced BreastPlate, Quickedning Powder, Sacred Candle and Blood Vial.

CC is good vs unexperienced players. But in matches vs players who have a good grasp of the game mechanics you may find him slow and vulnerable to range changes and switch outs.
Ashi with feather pwns cc in a 1 on 1.
Anex (with feather) is a decent character with good long ranged attacks but nothing more.
If you ask me i'd say ubuntu (with death mask) is the best character in the game.

That is absolutely not right my friend. My main hand is Ashi, Juju, Ubuntu and most of the novice people i encountered were complained about my hand. And also you missed the essence of the game. Powers take you to a certain point but real victories are taken by precise guessings.

Christopholis... consider that if Power Toss doesn't proc, that means you could very well be eating a 100% hits fleeing move the next turn, which would often finish the deal.

If you're specifically playing for the soul crush one hit ko, you should be using insignia, not tomes. It's more consistent, and one hits a lot.

i would like for his voidstream to be like cain's(only reduce 1 dark res)and it should be 95%,and his pilebunker should do 42-45 damage,and for anex i think powertoss needs to be slowed to 2 and hitrate 90-95% instead of 98%

people are admiting that cornelious and anex are the best characters in the game,which means that they r unbalanced and they have to be nerfed down,u just cant say it because u like to use these 2 all the time,oh and btw even corneloius against ashi he can reflect all her attacks except the axe handle which is pretty weak(20 damage),so he doesnt even need pilbunker he can just reflect her signature slice which is ridiculous

Christopholis is right, the only person with a chance against a full health anex at far is phoebe with sharpening stone and even that must either crit or stun...if it doesn't proc anex has her innate then power toss prevails

i have yet to hit a crit with pilebunker even after the 200 matches i have used him in...i have hit one crit with power toss one time though, and with her ability non the less!!! 128 damage, what an overkill

CC rocks...turagalover have you considered the other super cheap close range moves? like if ashi has VC then she can switch out most cards first

i think pilebunker is just too powerful,especially when i get soulcrushed and tomed at the same time,50 damage is just too much,it should be 42-45
